章 3651: Despair

"We are ready," said the big-red skin man. "Finally," said Governor Moraz and moved with the rest. All seven of them took the position in the center and began to move, or rather dance, strangely. 

'The ritual,' I muttered in my heart.

The ritual is an important part of the sacrifice to the Asear Vajaras. Without it, their power couldn't be invoked. The method to cast a ritual could be anything, dance, music, or murder, but it needed to be something.

The last time, the ritual was inside the temple, where we needed to kill each other; here it was, this strange dance.

The dance looked like; it was being done by the ghosts. Their movements were eerily smooth, but felt jarring at the same time, that I wanted to look away. 

I didn't, because I couldn't do anything. I had done what I could and now the only thing I could do was wait.
