章 2781: Three Arrows  

"Here, your weapons," I said and gave her the three arrows and the ax; thankfully, the energy weapons clean themselves automatically, or I needed to clean them, and I really did not want to do it.

"Thank you," she said as she placed her hand in the quiver and took the ax in hand. 

"I really hope you know where the Grimms have left their backpacks, or this yuckiness would be the end of me," I said, motioning toward the filth that is on me; I am really having a hard time holding back the vomit.

"Yes, I know; I have also left my backpack somewhere close," she said and stepped toward it when she suddenly stopped. "Is there something?" she asked as I did not follow.

"Yes. This place is reward type," I said with a sigh, and alarm flashed on her face, but she was quickly able to control her emotions. Still, I could see heaviness enveloping her eyes as she understood passing this test would be much harder than she had thought.
