"Touch her and you will taste my wrath!" Gideon bellowed surprising everyone in the room, including the Queen. Gideon had never raised his voice on anyone. He might be intimidating and cold but he had never raised his voice on anyone. Especially not on the Queen.

Everyone stared at King flabbergasted. His voice was too loud for them to ignore.

"How dare you disturb a very important meeting that concerns the security of this country?" He asked, his voice overbearing as he looked at everyone who came inside the room.

"My King." The Queen paled. "I... I was just alarmed when the Crown Prince told me that someone demanded to talk to you alone," she said while eyeing Jiang Yue.
