章 5: Chapter Five
Kagura had stirred awake after the loud sound but didn't speak, she didnt know how to feel...when she dies who will cry for her? Will they bring her flowers? Remember her?
She eyed Masamune dully. She could not understand the reasons behind his actions, she was merely a sacrificial bride, she treated him coldly.
What was in it for him to go so far as to seek help from an elder doctor that may or may not even lift an eye at her illness.
They did not speak much during their marriage, or rather she did not speak much, she did not know what to say, what to do. Although she could walk freely in the large complex, she did not like moving much and preferred quiet places where she could read or sleep.
Thus her movements were limited to their room and the garden. The servants that were meant to be her personal maids were removed due to her stubborn refusal to having maids wait on her, she didn't like others touching her.
Although she was chronically ill from childhood she studied the art of magic on her own. No one knew of her ability to wield magic, not even her husband who could be considered to be the closest person to her.
She was self taught and had complete control over her power however the use of magic was only meant for emergencies as it seemed that whenever she used her magic it triggered her illness.
She was an all attribute Arch-magus, the first in millenniums, if her 'family' had known they would have turned green from regret.
Such a peerless genius would shock the entire world, the number of mages that wield just 2 were called geniuses already, and the number of magicians that wielded 3 attributes could be counted on a single hand! Kagura having such abilities would make her a anomaly.
Not long afte she woke up Masamune first checked up on her to ensure she wasn't feeling any discomfort or if she was hungry. Only then did he inform her to pack her things, or simply order the maids. He gave her time to prepare packing her things before departing.
They were to depart, as to why? She was unsure herself but she knew it had something to do with her. Kagura bathed and changed to a white flowery dress with faint blue linings, her long luscious hair braided loosely with a silver ribbon.
