After Su Chen and Su Xiang left, Long Jie and Song Luli were left with two guests at their home. 

Lan Shufen and Song Zhen joined them for dinner, but Song Luli wondered why her friend barely said a word while sitting next to her. 

Song Zhen then caught them up about his school term away from the city. He gave them details about his practices, cases, and exams. And he seemed very passionate about what he was doing. 

Song Luli was happy for him. He always had a keen eye for picking up details, using elaborate thinking to solve problems. Song Zhen was someone she always admired, and some part of her didn't take the time to settle it in. Without her older sister's disinheritance, without Song Zhen walking away from the chance of being a CEO, Song Luli may not have reached the point of her life that she was in.

She wondered, would she still have crossed paths with Long Jie if she never took over Song Entertainment? Would there ever be a chance for them?
