章 379: 365. Huang Zu & Wen Pin's Arrival

Soon sound of gasps, moans, and grunts from Lu Lingqi could be heard in the boudoir, and the sounds were very sexy making Lie Fan who heard them even more fierce. The cicadas, frogs, and crickets were embarrassed to hear the sounds causing them to increase the volume of their sound, even the moon in the sky hid itself behind the clouds.
The next day, the sun shines bright entering the boudoir room waking Lie Fan up from his sleep. He wanted to get up from the bed, but he felt something holding his right arm tightly.
He looked down and saw Lu Lingqi who was sleeping while holding his arms tightly, sometimes murmuring some words while wincing due to their strenuous activity last night.
He kissed her forehead as he could himself back seeing Lu Lingqi's cute sleeping face which had a taste of spring, like she had been moisturized and now her face was glowing.
The kiss from Lie Fan woke up Lu Lingqi, who let out a cute whine, and her eyes fluttered slowly as she opened her eyes to adjust to the bright sunlight.
As she begins to wake up, Lu Lingqi doesn't recognize the situation she is currently in and feels the warm object that she was holding onto, she tightens her hold around it as it makes her feel comfortable.
Seeing the cute action Lu Lingqi had just done, Lie Fan let out a chuckle which attracted Lu Lingqi's attention, who was shocked when she heard a sound and opened her eyes and completely woke up, and finally realized and remembered everything from yesterday.
Her face turned bright red and to hide her embarrassment, she hit Lie Fan on the chest but her sudden movement caused her to winch, resulting in her hit being very weak and gentle like cotton.
Lu Lingqi's action and bright red face cause Lie Fan to release his arm that is being held by Lu Lingqi, slip it down Lu Lingqi's waist, and hug her tightly where Lu Lingqi has no place to put her hand unless she wraps it around Lie Fan.
Lu Lingqi: "You?! What are you doing?! It's morning right now, don't do anything stupid!"
Lie Fan: "Haha, what? I can't hug my own wife? If I can't hug you then who could hug you Qi'er? Who last night held me tightly while telling me to not stop and continue hmm?"
Lu Lingqi: *blushed* "W-who said that! I-if it wasn't for you bullying me, I wouldn't have said that humph!"
Lie Fan: "Alright Alright, it's my fault that Qi'er held me so tight last night, now since we are officially husband and wife by law and bond, call me husband my wife."
Lu Lingqi: "Husband~~~ there I have said it, are you satisfied now my husband~?"
Lie Fan: "Haha! Satisfied very satisfied, ahem let's talk about some more serious matters. Qi'er do you want to stay at home like your sisters Yue'er, Chan'er, and Ji'er, or follow me to the battlefield and fight side by side with me?"

She never expected that Lie Fan would give her the chance to choose, between staying at the Lie Clan residence and waiting for Lie Fan's return alongside her sisters, or joining Lie Fan and battling beside him side by side.
Lu Lingqi had prepared herself that Lie Fan would tell her to stay home and become the perfect wife, who abides by the four virtues and she wouldn't cause a fuss if that's what Lie Fan wanted because he was her husband.
Now hearing that she had a say in what she would do at least for a while, she was elated and chose to join Lie Fan in his campaign whenever he got out to battle, of course after she asked for his permission.
Seeing how elated Lu Lingqi was, Lie Fan let out a smile and ruffled her hair eliciting a whine from Lu Lingqi, who pinched Lie Fan and told Lie Fan to not do that because she doesn't like it when someone touches her hair.
Lie Fan and Lu Lingqi were frolicking in their bed in the morning, enjoying their private time together which would be an uncommon time to have as Lie Fan needed to split his time with his other wives, his children, family, and his duties.
After spending some time together, Lie Fan helped Lu Lingqi to clean herself by bathing together, and even though Lie Fan was very tempted to do something to Lu Lingqi he held himself back as he knew that Lu Lingqi needed to recuperate after last night's activities.
When Lie Fan and Lu Lingqi finished their bath and put on their fresh clothes that had been prepared by Lu Lingqi's maid, a servant from outside their room knocked on the door and reported to Lie Fan that there was a letter from Chen Gui addressed to him.
Hearing this Lie Fan opened the door, took the letter from the servant, and opened it to read the content after thanking the servant and closing the door.
Lu Lingqi came to Lie Fan's side to read the letter that Lie Fan had just received, and when she only read half of the content Lie Fan closed the letter and put it down on the table before hurriedly putting on his coat.
Seeing Lie Fan was in a hurry, Lu Lingqi who wanted to protest decided to hold back, and after helping Lie Fan finish putting on his coat, she kissed Lie Fan on the cheek with a red face and told him that she would wait for him.
Stunned by how proactive Lu Lingqi was even though she easily got embarrassed and shy, Lie Fan smiled and said that he would return as soon as possible and then leave their room, heading toward the stable and getting on his horse Pangu.
While on his way to the Governor's Castle, Lie Fan was recollecting the letter from Chen Gui he had just read, the reason why he was in a hurry because Chen Gui informed him that Huang Zu and Wen Pin escorted by Zhang Chao come to Xiapi.
Two of Liu Biao's most prized retainers had managed to be swayed to his side, Wen Pin could be said to be a middle talent who blossomed into a top talent when he joined Cao Cao in the original timeline, while Huang Zu was the reason why Jing Province was very powerful it was due to his navy expertise and huge influence.
As he was thinking about that, Lie Fan accompanied by two of his bodyguards finally arrived at the Governor's Castle and immediately headed toward the main hall.
In the main hall, Chen Gui accompanied by Sun Qian and Jia Xu was conversing with Wen Pin and Huang Zu while Zhang Chao only listened to the conversation, and everyone turned their head toward the entrance when they heard that Lie Fan had arrived.
Lie Fan entered the main hall and immediately saw both Wen Pin and Huang Zu who stood up from their seat, and he used the eye of Erlang Shen on both of them to see their attribute while he greeted the two of them and the others.

While Lie Fan was examining both Wen Pin and Huang Zu, the two of them were also examining the famed Lie Fan whom they had heard of for so long, and the rumors that they heard about this man take him for granted.
As the both of them had trained in martial arts and physical strength, they could feel the air radiating from Lie Fan oppressing the two of them and intimidating them.
Wen Pin was especially satisfied with the first impression he had of Lie Fan because as a warrior himself, he had long respected Lie Fan's name and fame and many had considered that he had replaced Lu Bu as the number one warrior in the land.
He of course still reserved his judgment whenever he fully committed to serving Lie Fan as his new lord, because he still retained the last bits of his loyalty for Liu Biao who had promoted him to become his personal general.
After taking his seat, Lie Fan then welcomed both Wen Pin and Huang Zu to Xiapi and asked them the reason that they came here to Xiapi, even though Lie Fan knew more or less the reason why the two came to Xiapi.
Wen Pin: "Lord Lie Fan please pardon the two of us, we came to Xiapi because we wanted to meet you, I don't know the exact reason for General Huang Zu but I wanted to see you because I wanted to see Lord Lie Fan personally before I made my decision."

Huang Zu: "Thank You, My Lord. I also have a request that I hope My Lord can agree to, I have a son named Huang Chao who wasn't very bright but very powerful and I hoped that he could join the rank of My Lord's personal bodyguards."
Lie Fan: "Oh? I have heard about Huang Chao from Dian Wei's letter and Huang Zhong's telling me about your son when he came here to Xiapi, are you truly sure about this decision? Because he would have a very tight schedule and it would be very hard for him to have free time."
Huang Zu hearing what Lie Fan had asked him, immediately nodded his head and confirmed to Lie Fan that he was very sure of this decision, he already asked Huang Chao for his opinion who agreed and couldn't wait to serve Lie Fan as his bodyguard, because he wanted to meet with Lie Fan who was said to be on par with Lu Bu, who could defeat Dian Wei in one on one duel.
