In the North, the battle between Han Fu defending against Yuan Shao and Gongsun Zan keeps raging on, but if you look closely signs of Han Fu being pushed back can be seen.
Liu Yan, Liu Biao, and Liu Yao the Imperial Clan Scion controlled large provinces but had internal problems to deal with and neglected the prestige of the Imperial Family, not helping them being relieved from Dong Zhuo's greedy hand.
Especially Liu Biao, who is fighting a war against Sun Jian who survived his ambush. Sun Jiang holds Changsha Commandery, which is in the center of Jing Province. The two of them are fighting heavily, which causes Jing Province to enter a bloodbath like in the North.
Ma Teng and Han Sui in Liang Province consolidated their power, taking in the Qiang tribes and Han people under one banner even though there was internal friction here and there.
Lastly, Dong Zhuo Who holds the largest army in the land currently has a conflict with Lu Bu, his bodyguard and foster son. Since the summon at the palace, Dong Zhuo and Lu Bu's relationship has entered a cold stage.
For some days everyone can't see Lu Bu at Dong Zhuo's side at all, which causes some rumors to fly that the two of them are on bad terms right now. Wang Yun and his cohorts are happy that their plan succeeded, now Wang Yun decided to proceed with the second part of their plan.

Maid 2: "S-some s-servants are talking L-lord Dong Zhuo are saying this after you left the palace, while drinking some more of his wine, saying that he shouldn't have treated her like a granddaughter..."
Lu Bu: "That pig bastard! I treated him like a father and he wanted to be with my daughter! What a fucking beast!!!"
Lu Bu couldn't contain his rage when he heard about this, Zhang Liao and Gao Shun who is behind Lu Bu were surprised when they heard about this. They didn't expect that Dong Zhuo could have such thoughts about their Young Miss.
Lu Bu walks heavily towards the Palace, being followed by his men to see Dong Zhuo. Dong Zhuo who is in the palace has a headache now, when he and Li Ru are discussing ways to mean the relationship between him and Lu Bu, this rumor starts.
Because it was too sudden, neither Dong Zhuo nor Li Ru can't contain the rumors which soon spread across Chang'An's upper circle. Li Ru can foresee Dong Zhuo having one more nickname and that is a beast, as the rumors are saying of him fancied Lu Lingqi.
With the track record Dong Zhuo has, everyone will believe this rumor and soon Lu Bu will also hear about it. That's what makes Li Ru have a headache right now, calming the enraging Lu Bu who will surely hear about this.
Dong Zhuo on the other hand is angry and ashamed that his secret was leaked out, even though he was drunk he was sure to not talk about that, especially when the relationship between him and Lu Bu was going through some rocks
Dong Zhuo and Li Ru are discussing some countermeasures when they hear Lu Bu shouting Dong Zhuo's name angrily, Li Ru immediately orders Dong Zhuo's personal guard to stand guard in front of Dong Zhuo, to protect him from Lu Bu.
The personal guards were trembling when they thought of the possibility they had to fight Lu Bu, even though Bu had lost against Lie Fan, Huang Zhong, and Dian Wei, he was still a formidable warrior in his own right.
Lu Bu enters the room, followed by his men causing a massive commotion. Lu Bu approaches Dong Zhuo, but he is stopped by the lines of guards protecting Dong Zhuo.
Lu Bu: "Dong Zhuo you beast! How could you target my daughter?! She is your foster granddaughter for god's sake! I'm truly blind to be accepting a wolf as my foster father, no not a wolfe something lower than a beast as even animal could not do that!"
Li Ru: "General Lu Bu please calm down, all of this is just a misunderstanding! Someone is trying to drive a wedge between you and Lord Dong Zhuo, and it will be like what they want so please calm down lets talk this through."
Lu Bu: "Calm down?! You go and be Calm Li Ru when you hear that your daughter is fancied by her grandfather!"
Dong Zhuo: "You unfilial son! How could you choose to trust those rumors and not your father?! I treated Lingqi as my own granddaughter! How could I think of her like that!"
Lu Bu: "You can't fool me, old man! while I'm slow witted doesn't mean I'm stupid! I can see in your eyes now that you are lying!"
The shouting match between Lu Bu and Dong Zhuo soon attracted the attention of Dong Zhuo's other generals, Li Jue, Guo Si, and Zhang Ji entered the room, to try and calm down Lu Bu.
They don't want to lose Lu Bu right now, Of the 5 great generals of the Xiliang army, three have fallen in battle, Hua Xiong was killed by Dian Wei and they thought Xu Rong and Fan Chou were dead as their bodies were never found.
Dong Zhuo being persuaded by his general feels his face was slapped by Lu Bu, he becomes angrier and says that Lu Bu will be stripped of his title for some time and to go back to his home to reflect his actions.
This caused some sensation in the room, as that meant Dong Zhuo would lose the biggest layer of shield to protect him from association attempts, and they tried to persuade Dong Zhuo to change his mind.
Li Ru knew that trying to change Dong Zhuo's mind right now was futile, so he told everyone to go back and he would try to persuade Dong Zhuo, Lu Bu only gave a maniacal laugh at Doing Zhuo's order, saying that he accepted this with pleasure.
Knowing that he can't do anything right now, Lu Bu brought his men to leave the location, while Domg Zhuo is calmed down by Li Ru, who is the only man right now who could calm down Dong Zhuo, not even his family can do what Li Ru did.
In Chang'An, the news of Lu Bu and Dong Zhuo's conflict soon spread, Wang Yun and his cohorts when they heard this was ecstatic, Wang Yun ordered the fruit wine, and beer from Xu Province, to prepare for the banquet they will hold as the last step of the plan.
The conflict between Dong Zhuo and Lu Bu soon arrived at Lie Fan's desk, in the shape of a report from an Oriole member who infiltrated Chang'An.
Reading the content, and knowing what causes the conflict between the two makes Lie Fan laugh. He never knew that just because his teasing Lu Lingqi while they were in a duel, will be used by Wang Yun to make this plot.
If you ask how could Lie Fan know that it was Wang Yun who caused this because Lie Fan knows that the only man who can do this is Chang'An is Wang Yun, as the others are either too incompetent or Dong Zhuo's lapdog. But thinking about Lu Lingqi, Lie Fan can say confidently that Lu Lingqi's bravery and boldness truly make him admire her.
