レビューを書くNot a “professional critic” or anything like that, just a guy who enjoys reading interesting, unique and, sometimes, even cliche stories. Overall, I enjoy the time travel and/or reincarnation trophe. I like the characters and the layers between the real world and the virtual worlds. The main concern I have overall is the introduction of Draco’s background. I thought that it was a big info dump as well as the idea being revealed way too quickly. Obviously, with that info dump done, the plot starts to progress and the motives start to reveal. But I wish that it was introduced more subtlety and revealed better. Thank you for the story though! Although I’ve finished it and there are some rough spots, the writing style and ideas are very enjoyable!
ネタバレを明かすAn elaborate story set in two conjoined worlds, virtual and reality come together to form the backdrop for one of the best VR-novel stories on this Website. The usual overdone Reincarnation genre gets to relive its glory years through this story. All described and outfitted by tasteful grammar and a superb writing style. Now onto the meat of the review. For the last week I had been searching for a new VR-novel, since most of the ones I'm enthralled with and am waiting on updates for have been on hiatus or are currently way too slow with their updates. There's a long list of novels in this exact genre I've read but the ones that match up to this one aren't many. Notable ones are: -Phoenix Phire (Small hiatus should continue in a few weeks) -Rise of the Undead Legion (Very slow with updating) -Realm of Myths and Legends (Currently on hiatus) If you've read any of the above then this one is a must have on your reading list. Vice versa aswell. --- There's a lot to say for this novel and I'll try to keep it somewhat short, atleast for my standards. --- The world is as I mentioned before very elaborate more so because both 'worlds'(VR and Reality) get explored and explained, however there's no long info dumps to be found. Everything has it's time and place beyond the initial introduction which feels easy to grasp whilst reading. Never at one point did I get annoyed by exposition. Both worlds feel as if they are filled with life and adventures/interesting things. One thing I like about VR-novels among other things are the Game-Elements and they are described beautifully here, with the proper appearance. Author seemingly puts a lot of effort into making sure the numbers add up and can always be found in the chapter comments if anything is incorrect or mixed up. Overall I really like the world-building of this Novel and it feels alive. There's a few Side-Stories added in showing other people's perspectives which help in that regard. --- Characters come alive and feel genuine. Their feelings can be experienced and are played with by the Author in a realistic way. The main character has multiple personalities which after reincarnating and progressing through the story alter and change in regards to what happens in a realistic way. I usually don't really like characters which are at the utmost top of the Dao of shamelessness as many readers have called it but I find it passable, plus he doesn't use it a lot. I feel like the interactions between Qion Qi(Think I'm writing this wrong ฅ^•ﻌ•^ฅ) are somewhat 'too' silly sometimes. There's only so many fart jokes which I can personally enjoy before that gets old, sometimes I wish he could just be the bad ass lion sidekick I imagine him to be instead of the comedic relief of the story. Even without him farting and such there's enough humor in the Novel to get around. Author in the beginning got a lot of shit for the Female main character which I don't think he deserves. Admittedly I've come in after all the changes were made so I don't know exactly how the story was before but as it stands now I've never hated or disliked her. I actually like her drive and motivation, backstory and how she treats the people around her. I think she's well written. MC's guild is filled with fleshed out and loveable characters which I like reading Side-Stories about, aswell as interactions between them and the MC. His various love interests are the same, filled with different realistic emotions which keep them feeling alive. They add a lot to the story and I like that there's a few chapters worth of stories inbetween Arcs filled with conversations and interaction between them all. --- Writing is superb and is easy to understand and get through, the reading experience is delightful. The editor(Devil's Advocate) does his job great aswell. Anyways I need to cut it off here, can only have so much in a review, one day I'll get better at that. Thanks for writing Author (◍•ᴗ•◍)✧*。
Don’t read this novel here. You’re better reading this on a free site. The author does everything in his power to kill off his momentum which in turn, kills this book. Anticipating a hyped chapter? Nah change POV. And for how many chapters? At least 10. So the hype you had? Gone. And when it’s finally time for that hyped up chapter? This dumb author is like: nah, info dump, stats dump, drag it out. Especially the tower of Babylon arc and the rest after that. This dumb idiot of an author literally wrote ALMOST every chapter with info dump and stats dump. The plot is not even moving anymore. All you see is literally stats stats stats stats. Like nobody wants to read that. And you know what’s even crazier? There’s like at least 5-10 straight chapters that’s literally all status screens. I liked this novel the first half, but after that, it just went downhill 90 degrees. So, stop wasting your money and read this on other sources
Isn't this novel where the main female heroine got r@ped by the side character but author try to calm down readers by saying something like guys this is virtual reality game. It's not like a real thing happen and and she turn off the sensors off so, she didn't feel anything. It was so funny reading the comments.
i was really having fun reading! but the moment the NTR SCENE was there i was... idk what the author was thinking making a background story like that but the idea of being cuckolded is giving me absolute disgust to continue reading its been fun while it lasted...
it's wild how the protagonist went from killing his own subordinates on a whim at the start to progressively becoming more and more of a wimp as the story progresses, this is the opposite of character development, he's supposed to be a villain yet is developing to become something that is anything but.
Dropped at chapter 29. It was great until then but the bloodlines and all the stuff was the problem. I didnt mind the quick reconciliation with the FL and preferred it to dragging out but to me it seems like the author was not confident with the VRMMO setting and instead wanted to do something with gods and bloodlines.
ネタバレを明かすMC has been cuckolded by his enemy, there's someone else with reincarnation memories, the last chapter I read was "A shocking answer"... i have had no problems reading dark novels but this one just makes me feel bad here
NTRRRRRR DONT DO IT ! FL IS NTRED and then author changed chapter to LIGHT NTR but FL still cheated and liked it
Okay i am right now at 500 chapters and this storry stared so good but it became more like a chore to read. Pro: - Complete Story -Grammar is good -Story is evolving with a lot of mystery -Chapter are pretty long like 3-4k words -Good World building -Good character evolution Cons: -Till chapters 500 long ability dumps after that it got better -Side character have chapter after chapter of content presst into them so that the MC gets a lot less screen time like 10 chapters side character story 1-2 chapter MC story -MC is stuck in some forced quest 80% of the time and therefore gets 80 % lesser screen time -MC starts to build his guild and then leaves everything to his subordinates and is max 1-2 weeks in his base managing his guild and the rest is he stuck in some quest for 1-3 years grinding something -Mc is missing almost every Server event because he is stuck in his quest -For the novel to be Overpowers it nerves the mc really hard every time he tries to be op like common he gets an ability that is op uses it 1 time and one chapter later it gets nerves to oblivion to never see the daylight again -Novel title is Guild Wars and the MC sits 95% of the time in some quests away from the guild for his grind. The novel should be "I Gind to Heaven and Back" -Side Character have way to much screen time. Like do we need 20 or so ? and the info dump of 4 chapters and one with their appearance? So yea idk If i can manage to read it fully but of you like a complete story with good grammar and thought out world building than that's the novel for you.
ネタバレを明かすI like the world and magic system but way too much side character pov stuff, and cut it out with every battle just being a huge info dump of the skills used; the mc has thousands of technics he doesn’t even use
This is truly a great book I just hope you will release more chapters I know a lot of us want to know what happens when Draco meets his parents and I’ve been waiting since you first released this novel
To label "Villain" and have an Fmc is just plain stupid. A villain is not in love with anyone, has no feelings for anyone. Good thing, the author had the decency to say so in the reviews.
Ah, brace yourself for a riveting tale of mediocrity, or as I like to call it, "Guild Wars: A Symphony of Boredom." Strap in, folks, this might be a bumpy ride through the thrilling world of Draco and his oh-so-imaginative backstory. So, our dear protagonist, Draco. A name so creatively mundane, it could be the brainchild of a 13-year-old Dungeon Master attempting to be the edgiest edge lord in a game of DnD. But let's not judge a book by its hilariously lame name, shall we? Now, Draco's gripping tale begins with the classic trope of a poor, parentless, bullied kid who miraculously rises to become the 3rd best player in a virtual online game. Guild master, cartel leader, cold-hearted extraordinaire—oh, the cliche brilliance! And, of course, he meets his inevitable demise through assassination. Riveting, isn't it? But wait, why should we root for this masterpiece of character development? Draco, devoid of redeemable qualities, had a relatively cushy life in the virtual realm, no familial ties, and about as much motivation as a sloth on a Monday. Sympathy? Please. He couldn't sympathize with a rock, let alone the poor souls he encounters. Our MC is basically a stoic edge lord, the kind who throws sympathy out the window, steps on everyone's feelings, and builds a guild empire for purely selfish reasons. Who doesn't love a protagonist with a heart of stone and a mind focused solely on self-interest? Oh, and let's not forget the riveting speed run through the game that culminates in a World Title. Bravo! The whole narrative feels as rushed as a caffeine addict sprinting to the coffee machine. No emotional weight, just a plot carried along like a deflated balloon in the wind. Action sequences, you ask? Hold onto your seat because they're as lackluster as a soggy sandwich. Blink, and you might miss the lightning-fast events that somehow manage to suck out any tension faster than a vacuum in a black hole. Rare items? No struggle. Draco's apparently on a first-name basis with luck itself. Meanwhile, the average Joes in the game are left to wrestle with struggles that Draco couldn't be bothered to understand, let alone experience. And the characters, oh, the rich tapestry of blandness! They exist solely to be trampled upon by our illustrious MC, both now and in the foreseeable future. A standing ovation for character development, everyone! In conclusion, "Guild Wars" is a masterclass in plot-carrying, emotion-lacking, and character-trampling. The only shining star in this lackluster constellation? Foreshadowing. Because nothing says "quality storytelling" like predicting the disappointment that awaits.
here can advertise your novel, please tell me Multiprof | Apocalypse here can advertise your novel, please tell me Multiprof | Apocalypse
Fun concept with poor execution. Plot holes, flat side character development, ham-fisted unreasonable scenarios just to force OP strength onto MC, and so much cringe that your cringe will cringe. 😵💫😵💫😵💫
The story is very interesting at the beginning I was quite annoyed but then I started getting more excited and including the character development and the story is also funny a lot and sometimes the MC was too shameless and still much more and yes there's a lot of information dumping and sometimes an entire chapter is taken by information we already read but that doesn't bother me much and my conclusion I think Guild wars is still an amazing novel. funny and interesting and I really hope the Creator will try to release frequently even though he's working on a new novel I really hope he will try his best to update this novel
The plot holes. It hurts. Why can't Kotario just make a plan and stick to it? Anubatesh came, except I don't see the hostile Entity that was tracking him when he was first introduced. Also if you look back. The Entity clearly refers to him as her husband. But in his memories he married someone else. There's also the war with Origo. Caelo clearly said he needed help with war against Origo but later we see Origo or Deus or whatever being friendly with Someone from Caelos side. And don't get me started on shuangtian. In the beginning the only way Draco was aware of her existence was that she was Shangtian sick sister. But then she was turned into his cousin and her existence was hidden. Massive plot hole. Would still recommend. Also it's nice that the author puts a lot of thought into this but the result is that the filler takes a good chunk of the novel.
ネタバレを明かすI have been reading this novel since it was but a measly70 chapters old toddler. At first the novel might not seem like much but the author, Kotario is a superb writer. The book has been carefully curated to appeal to all audiences. For the drama lovers, you are covered, my fellow gentlemen are satisfied😏 and for those who love the joy, the adreneline rush of reading, you have that in spades. The character development is truuly awesome. All involved characters are well developed with proper back ground stories befitting their calibre and power. The story develops steadily from the first chapter onwards with just the correct dose of suspence, enough to make you want more but not too much such that you feel you will give up on it. The quality of the writing is amazing with only slight mispronunciations(keyboard typos) keep your quality of comedy upto standard as it makes me crack up every time I read this stuff. The only issue I have is with the up[date stability which is minor. I hope you can keep up but alert us if you can't write or if there will be a delay in release. Otherwise Author Kotario I would like to congratulate you in creating a master piece (If you drop this I pray that the golden savages visit you sometime🙏)
Love the story shameless author, this story and chrysalis have the best world building i’ve read so far but this novel really blows me away. Now quick drop the discord so that I and all the other handsome fellows can bully more chapters out of you.
To start off I read 1077 chapters so I know the whole story. For pros: good plot funny steady pacing great characters For Cons: unique quests are boring stats stats. Way too many stats slight spoiler but they never make it to the sci-fi section. I was waiting for that the whole time
a very good novel, that was ruined by the countless filler words and continuously filler chapters that dont add much nor people care about what the filler is all about (like about useless side characters and side stories that we dont even remember the name of, or description of useless skills that most people just skim them through and like the System announcements that are always accompanied by 3 equal messeges that repeats the announcement for local, regional and continental announcements, just there to add to the word count while not having to actually develop the plot). be prepared people, nowadays although i still read it, i question myself daily why i do it when every chapter is at least 75% filler. i really respect the author for creating a good novel, but nowadays the fillers are just too much. Dont waste your time guys, the author just seems to be milking his fans as much as possible, while not having to worry about plot progression, which recently is close to zero, honestly.
when i read the reviews i honestly felt like i probably wouldn't like this novel but this novel, However i was pleasantly surprised by how much i've enjoyed it. The main character is likeable and has a visible depth and as the novel progresses his growth is obvious to the reader. There is intrigue, there is sex, there is drama. Everything is in this novel, and everything is well thought out and planned and any issues that are in the novel the author is very interactive and discusses them and remedies if need be. And tbh i cant really find any fault apart from minor grammar issues. And for all those who are wondering, NO. There is no NTR and should read the novel and see for yourself.
