The horrifying and inhumane words of Eric Douglas did not surprise Sonia and Saunia. The three of them were among the premier scientists within the Unlocked armies. Their value surpasses even that of some of the lower-leveled Ranked Heroes. But instead of a respectful and moral code, Eric revealed a heartless one.
"WHAT?! That's outrageous!" One of the doctors shouted angrily and stood up. He didn't even speak in the agreed method of using infrasonic, speedy, and quiet words. Had it not been for the loud background as the couple made their first dance, everyone would have noticed his shout.
"Doctor Steveson." Eric raised his eyebrow in disgust.
"Please follow protocols."
"How can I after what I-"
Almost immediately, the doctor stumbled back to his feet. He was unlocked, but the power and concentrated attack of three Reapers Breath made him shiver in fear.
Oh boy, was these two chapters darker than my morning coffee. But I wrote this so you guys could see the extreme process which these guys train their soldiers and so that you won't be surprised why there would be several Inhumans popping up in the future.
When I stated writing this, I was thinking whether or not Seeker's classmates would help him in this battle. But as you can see, only Meryl and Lynd followed Seeker. I worked this story with Seeker's Path in mind. And as I wrote it, I realized that the closest reality, and the most believable one would be for Seeker to only have a few people who would 'believe' in him. His classmates, which are his peers would not, or could not believe in him.
Fun fact, when I started writing this story, I didn't have an audience of family and friends because they never bothered. I had very few people who supported me like my wife. But that's it. It was only through strangers that I found support and who told me that my story was worth reading. My advice to you guys, is the same in this chapter. Seek an audience of strangers in your Path. Whether its a career, business, or a dream, don't get your motivation from your family and friends. If you have friends and family that do suport you, count yourself lucky. But most of the time, your support will come from strangers. And it's ok. In my case, my income in this story won't come from them anyway. It'll come from you, beloved readers, who are strangers to me.
Think of this as an early Christmas/Holiday greetings to yall.
