Karl was still trembling as he waited for Cecile to speak. They were sitting on one of the bench at the main veranda as they faced each other.

He told her everything and he started it with the moment he had met her. He confessed that he had fallen in love to her that day she said hello. Then he continued as he came clean of everything. He did not leave a single thing that involved Cecile. He told the truth, every little piece of truth from the start.

After his long confession, Karl exhaled loudly. He felt that the heaviness in chest had lightened.

He couldn't believe that he finally did it. There's no more hiding, no more secrets.

He looked at Cecile with begging eyes. He was ready to beg on his knees for her forgiveness and so he did.

"I'm really sorry Cecile. I did not intend things to hap..." he repeated but Cecile stopped him.
