Slowly coming to I slowly opened my eyes similarly to the last time I had done this. Sitting up I felt a bit sore from the skill that I had picked up previously. I didn't know how I picked it up for free, but I decided I needed to check up on that later. For now anything involving this incident could wait. Mumbling under my breath about how life was unfair; I looked out the window to my left as I watched the sun rise from a distant mountain. Here I was, having just decided to put it aside; yet already I started thinking about it. We were truly not ready for that fight, and we had almost paid the price. We had almost died. Sighing I looked over to my side to notice Emblaze slowly waking up.
I wondered if this was going to start becoming common. Ending up in some medical facility, or some other place where I would get healed while having the lizard sleep next to me. "Char... Charmander...Char..," The fire breathing lizard said as it finally rose up, yawning from its rest. Looking over at it I smiled and waved once more just like I had attempted earlier, succeeding this time. "So partner what do you say to training once we get out of here," I asked hinting to our fight that we had just gotten healed from and how poorly it went. I probably shouldn't have been mentioning it first thing, but the reality of what happened wasn't just going to go away. We both would need to do something to calm us down after this. Freezing up the lizard looked at me making sure that I was OK before it said anything. After it was done, it started thinking about the fight itself. It had failed its partner, and it had almost cost them their lives.
Nodding the two agreed it needed to be fixed and left it as a future discussion for when they could actually start training. For now they needed to just rest, relax, and wait for the doctors to say what they could do. It was at that moment nurse joy walked in. "So would you two be willing to tell me how you got these wounds," Sighing I started on the story of how we ran into the Hexnya inside my newly obtained Dojo. Obviously I mentioned nothing about how my system had to deal with me being there.

It had taken me a mere four hours to get out of the hospital. The reason for it turned out to be that certain Pokemon healing moves worked just as well on people as they would on Pokemon. However, with very few people needing being healed by other Pokemon since typically people had their own, it became both cheaper and more paperwork intensive. Funnily enough this likely lowered the extremely low crime rate of this world; what with there being less hatred involved in certain accidents involving people since most problems are easily recoverable from if people take a little precaution. Hate crimes as such were getting lowered in number before they could even begin.
Needing to go to the Pokemon center to check up on the Pokemon that I had captured; I ran as fast as my newly healed body allowed. Finally getting there I ignored the Nurse Joy and Headed straight to one of the computer boxes on the wall. Pulling out my pokedex and looking on the help page I found the Professor's number. Smiling I dialed it in and waited.
"Hold on a moment and let me get the cam..... there now I can s....oh hey there Lazaro I just finished the basic analysis of Hexnya. Do you mind if I keep her for more extensive tests," the man asked in hope. Hearing this I almost cried on the inside, yet I knew it was for the best. Hexnya would probably attack me the next time it sees me. Me and Emblaze also needed to train first before anything else could happen. I couldn't expect this to be like a Pokemon game where the Pokemon would immediately become loyal after it was captured. It was naivety on my part that allowed me to think for such.
There were a series of semi-conditions I needed to fulfill in this world if I wanted to get more Pokemon. First I needed to keep my partner as my strongest Pokemon. That way I would be able to control the others Pokemon if they try to revolt against me. Of course if I truly ever reached a certain point of trust between certain Pokemon and me; then I can slowly close this gap, but it would still help having one stronger Pokemon than the rest.
Certain cases of this would be shown through gym battles where the gym leaders could suddenly show a stronger Pokemon than the other Pokemon they have out which lead by multiple levels. Other than this I also could prepare a couple of weaker more trustable Pokemon to keep by my side in case this stronger one wants to attack me in case my main Pokemon gets injured. Getting back on topic I answered "No problem Professor just if you could add your current research into my Pokedex I would appreciate it. I need to study my future Pokemon after all," I replied in courtesy.
Getting a nod the professor started pressing a few buttons which opened up a wide selection of flash drives that would fit into the port in my Pokedex. "So has there been any problems," I asked trying to make idle conversation as he worked. Hearing a snort at the terrible attempt I made up my mind to be quiet for now until a bit later where I heard another reply one more cheerful now that the man had found the needed drive. "Not much information is on this drive, but as the nature of how Pokemon are. There is a never ending flood of information on them, problems too. Still I suppose that's also true for humans ," Oak said almost as an after thought.
Nodding in understanding that was true for both my lives; at least for the problem part of what he said, I sighed and couldn't help but mumble a quiet "Yeah." Truly problems always seem to keep coming, but I suppose as they say. That's just life. In the next moment a bright flash occurred on the machine signifying that I was now the owner of temporary new content that was currently going through or just finishing testing. To get the information all I had to do was merely place my Pokedex on the machine I was talking with and it would link wirelessly with the machine and the USB's information at Professor Oak's lab in order for me to receive it. A unique invention I had to add. Probably something doable on earth too, in order for the world to have a slightly more secure Wi-fi download.

Sighing at how little the information was, that I was given. I almost wanted to complain about why they hadn't added some more hypothesis in it. Still, I was glad to know what I could get from this, and I was suddenly glad I hadn't asked for the Pokemon back. Maybe I needed to keep another ghost Pokemon to help balance things out for me and it. Something to think about I suppose, with that knowledge I decided to put it off for now.
"As you can see Lazaro, most information that can be collected from this specimen hasn't been collected yet making it a bit of a mystery, as such we'll have to wait and see how it reacts for now. I need to get back to my lab work so I'll be going." Nodding I waved my salutations in return. From this moment on, it was time to go into the nearby forest and train for the foreseeable future. This time however, I didn't plan on doing anything overwhelmingly stupid while doing so.
