章 528: Dinner at the Long Ancestral Residence (Part II)
Dinner was an ordeal for everyone. Nobody had an appetite. The atmosphere was heavy and tense, making everyone uncomfortable.
As the elders, Long Tengfei and Yang Jiahui tried to act as if everything was normal. They forced themselves to eat, even though the food tasted like sand in their mouths at that moment.
Meimei began stress eating, shoving food into her mouth nonstop, much like her twin bro, the food-vacuum Dom. Although she was eating a lot, it didn't look like she was enjoying it.
The two men, Jin Liwei and Long Hui ate mechanically. Both of their expressions were cold, but they still continued to eat. They also looked like they weren't enjoying the food.
As for Iris, she didn't bother eating. After a couple of bites, she simply stopped. She just sat there with her hands on her lap and watched her darling eating beside her.

ArriaCross Some of you have expressed concern about me stress eating like Meimei. Yes, I tend to stress eat especially during the early half of this year. But after I started having serious health issues, my weight has been fluctuating. After my recent hospitalizations, I don't have that much appetite so I've lost weight. I'm trying to gain some weight again as per my doctor's recommendation.
In short, don't worry. I'm not stress eating right now. Only Meimei in the story. I'm eating to gain a healthier weight. My stress has also significantly reduced this month after I made some lifestyle changes. My health is still considered fragile but I'm expected to return to full recovery (or close to it) when the year ends. So right now, I'm focusing on steady regular release for HGWS.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support. I really appreciate you all. I'm determined to be healthier so that I can write HGWS and hopefully continue to entertain you until it ends.
