章 36: It’s you!
'Shit, my ears are getting pregnant!' (⁄ ⁄•⁄ω⁄•⁄ ⁄)
Sophie's eyelids flutters and her ears turns red as she listen to her adonis deep husky voice. Smelt a trace of rosewood emits from Shawn's body brought Sophie's mind to overdrive.
' OMG! It's the same smell! It's you! ' (o_O) !
John dumbfounded while Vincent face turn uglier by second. Impatiently he pull Sophie out from Shawn's "almost" hugging position to his own, shielding her from the "hugging-thief" man.
'No outsider can hug my little sister!'
A soft brief phone call tones dispersed the awkward air between them. Sophie nudged her brother, indicating she's going to take the call outside. Vincent nodded in agreement and watched her leaving until she step outside the ballroom to the outdoor balcony. When turned his head back his face immediately changed to charcoal black.
"I assume you satisfied with your life, Shawn?"

Looking how livid Vincent is, John knew Vincent furious with the whole "hugging" issue. Shawn remained silent, ignoring the boiling hot man while John promptly intervened between them. How could he not, one side is his blood brother, while another is his best friend. He cannot lose either side !
Sophie on another hand currently receiving status update from her team. Knowing that all explosive devices were disable, lift some weight on her mind. Leaving another set of instructions, Sophie planned to go back to her brother.
Before she able to walk out the area, she was yanked to the side and again landed to another strong human flesh.
'When did I sign up for human wall buffet ?'
Sophie take a sniff, expecting a familiar rosewood scent, but she smelt a vanilla fragrance with a hint of feminine perfume - Black Orchid. Bewildered, Sophie lifted her head up and saw cherry brown hairs and a pair of grey eyes stare back at her - David.
"Why are you here? Didn't I tell you to not attend this event?!"
"Is it? Sorry, I don't waste my time remembering anything insignificant."
Sophie replied calmly as she tugged her hand out from David's hold and take a step back, putting distance between them. David however felt enraged as he listened to Sophie.
Slap
In spite of anger, David slapped Sophie.
