章 582: Unwanted Fame

Laz was taken through hallway after hallway until he ended up in a large room that he could only guess served for medical purposes. What's more, there were people in masks and gowns everywhere observing people who were tied to tables and struggling who were also wearing masks and gowns. The only difference was the ones on the table seemed to all have quite a bit of blood on them.

"Get in," The heavily armored man said, shoving Laz.

"This him?" A rather aged looking doctor said, looking Laz over but backing off a bit in the process, something that seemed to startle Laz's escort.

"Yes," replied the armored man.

"I want to ask you something and it's best if you're honest with me," the doctor said, his face still hidden behind the mask.

"What's up doc?" Laz said, cracking a joke he didn't even find funny.
