章 3: Checking the Summoning Grimoire

Yue Yang woke up refreshingly in the morning.

Honestly, after devouring the original Yue Yang's soul, last night was very tiring so he doesn't have any time to think and directly sleep in his bed like a log.

However now that his mind refreshed and sober, there are many peculiar things that doesn't add up.

He remember that when he contracted the grimoire, his light pillar reach several hundreds meters. With this kind of light pillar not only White Stone City, even the whole Da Xia Kingdom should be aware of his light pillar.

However his residence is still quiet without any commotions, this is quite weird.

Yue Yang decide to meet Fourth Mother and ask her about it.

"Ah, actually I also confused as to why the whole resident in White Stone City were not aware of your light pillar. However I guessed that maybe some unknown senior help us to concealed the light pillar. Although I don't know what the expert's intention was, you still have to be careful. If someday you meet that expert and he/she is not a bad person, you should try to repay the favor if you're already strong enough", said Fourth Mother advising Yue Yang.

"Yue Yang understand Fourth Mother", said Yue Yang with nod.

"Mm, it's good that you understand. By the way I still don't know your inherent skill or guardian beast. Can you show it to me?", ask Fourth Mother.

"Of course, after all you're the only people that I trusted. If I don't show it to Fourth Mother, to whom if I want to brag about my awesome inherent skill or guardian beast?", said Yue Yang proudly.

"Humph, so Fourth Mother is the only that you trust? Looks like brother already forget about me?"

Suddenly, a cute voice interrupt Yue Yang.

'Yue Shuang? No, she is still not born in this world considering she is still at the age of 11 years old when Yue Yang reach 20. But wait, in that case she should already be born right? But in my memory that I got from original Yue Yang, I don't remember seeing Fourth Mother getting pregnant. This is too suspicious~", thought Yue Yang in deep contemplation.

"Ahhh, sorry about that honey.... Here here, please forgive brother okay.... I was just thinking about something so I didn't hear your cute voice. Please forgive me okay?", said Yue Yang while he consoling the little girl.

Yue Yang finally remember that this little girl is Yue Bing. Since Yue Bing is 5 years younger than Yue Yang then currently she is still about 4 years old.

"sniff~, okay. But brother have to play with me", said Yue Bing while she wipe her teary eyes.

Now Yue Yang feel a bit guilty for making this cute little girl crying.

"Alright, then let's go to the courtyard. We'll play together there", said Yue Yang.

"Fourth Mother, I'm sorry but lets pending the discussion tonight. For now, I want to accompany Yue Bing to play", said Yue Yang while he hold Yue Bing's hand.

"Alright, I agreed. This girl only want to play with you since she is too shy to play with other kids, and in this whole house there are only adults. Be careful out there okay....", said Fourth Mother.

In the courtyard, Yue Yang and Yue Bing playing many different games together. They play hide and seek, catching ball, gathering flowers, and even play water in the creek.

Yue Yang also teach her some origami such as paper boat or flying plane.

At noon, they finally quite tired so both of them lie down under a tree shade.

Yue Bing currently taking a nap beside him. Since Yue Yang didn't want to wake her up, he move away quite a bit from her since he want to test his inherent skill: Anime Gacha System.

He already know that he possessed Soul Devouring Beast since he was trying it last night to devour the original Yue Yang's soul.

However he is still haven't try his inherent skill so he want to check it before Fourth Mother call both of them for lunch.

After ensuring that the courtyard devoid of other people aside from the sleeping Yue Bing, Yue Yang call out his grimoire.

This will be the first time he open his summoning grimoire.

It was somehow quite inconvenienced trying to hold the summoning grimoire that was 3 times thicker than dictionary with his 9 years old body.

Fortunately, the grimoire was quite light since Yue Yang already contracted it.

Yue Yang turned his summoning grimoire and realised that the first page was his own portrait.

'Hmmm, can't tell wether handsome or not since I'm still a child but in the future my face shouldn't be too bad since Yue Yang portrayed as handsome bad boy by the girls'

Under the 'Apprentice' words, there was a simple line of Rank Description.

[Apprentice]: You are the weakest existance in this world, but with hard work, as a grimoire user you still have hope to become stronger.

Goddamnit, even though Yue Yang already anticipated this beforehand, to be called as the weakest existance by a mere grimoire is sting.

Yue Yang currently is still an Apprentice in summoning, but he doesn't have any plan to level up his summoning grimoire until he reach an Innate Rank.

This is because he plan to challenge The Twelves Zodiac Temples and Three World Shrines in Tong Tian Tower first floor and second floor.

Both of these challenge has an entry limit of level 6 [Elder], so those that have summoning rank above level 6 will not be able to enter it.

The problem is the challenge was pretty much almost impossible to be cleared by those that have strength of level 6 [Elder] or below, no need to mention trying to break the records.

That's why Yue Yang will not intentionally raising his summoner rank, and only focus in combat technique and body strengthening for the next few years until finally he reach Innate Rank and challenge The Twelves Zodiac Temples and Three World Shrines.

He will cleared the challenges, slay all the monsters, take all the loot, break all the records, and finally snatch all the rewards.

After mulling about his future plans for a moment, Yue Yang then skipping over the rank description, and see the next half page that described his inherent skill.

According to the knowledge passed to Yue Yang by the summoning grimoire, everyone have their own unique inherent skill.

Only a handful of people would have an inherent skill, but almost everyone that possess them will always have inherent skill that different from each others.

Anyway Yue Yang shift his attention to his inherent skill: Anime Gacha System, but what he saw almost made his eyes poped out of the socket.
