章 33: A very tasty piece of News 5
After going through the pictures four consecutive times Jian Mengyao still couldn't believe how blind he had been to the obvious.
His had been warmed by so a few of his friends apart from his parents and grandparents yet he had failed to listen.
Because of Feng Mimi he had lost a few meaningful friends. All so that he could accommodate her feeling.
How pathetic, he always considered her feelings in every decision he ever made. He gave her his true heart yet she never even had him in her heart. He was just a means to an end.
He thought running his hands through his short hair feeling agitated. He had moved passed the denial stage to full on rage.
He picked up his glass of brandy and threw it to the wall. The loud noise of glass hitting concrete and breaking into small shards gave him a little relieve.
'Who the hell did she think she was? How dare that pathetic little__ mess with my feelings for years" he shouted out angrily fuming with a rage so hot that he never knew he had in him.
He stood straight, eyes closed taking in some calming breaths. When he finally felt his anger subside he pulled his phone out of his pants pocket.
Now that he has finally discovered the true colors of his darling fiancee he could no longer allow himself to be fooled.
it was a good thing that he had been smart enough not to give her the password to his phone who knows what she would have done with that. He had made a rookie mistake trusting her.
As soon as the phone was unlocked he opened up his contacts and diailed his Secretary's number.
"Hello sir" Liu You said.
"come over to apartment 8A" said Jian Mengyaoas he poured himself another glass of brandy, the night was still young.
"Yes Sir I will be there soon"
"Okay....oh and Lu Yu please come over with a light dinner"
"Yes sir" Lu Yu replied pulling back his chair and picking up his car keys, identity card, wallet and a few documents since he would be going home from there
Liu You has walked along side Jian Mengyao since he had taken over the President position in the company and was one of the two people aware of his old apartment the second person being his mother.
Fifteen minutes later Liu You arrived at the apartment and rang the bell. Jiang Mengyao had already been informed of his arrival by the building security.
On hearing the doorbell ring Jian Mengyao set down his empty glass of brandy on the table and walked over to door and let him in.
Liu You came over from the company so he was still dressed in a suit. He walked into the apartment with a document on one hand and the company issued package dinner in his other hand.
Jian Cosmetics were one of the few companies with a 24hrs cafeteria. It had been one of the improvements he had pushed hard for during his early years in the company. Especially since majority of the workers worked overtime most days of the week.
As Liu You walked in Jian Mengyao collected the package food and walked forward. He walked back to the kitchen counter and placed the packaged food on the counter.
"Come in and have a seat" He instructed heading back to his vacated drinking spot with Liu You following him close.
The first thing Liu You noticed when he walked into the room was the half drank bottle of brandy and the shards of glass by the wall opposite the counter.
He could already guess just what went on here but he couldn't quite guess what could push his usually calm, good tempered boss to so much drink much less throw a crystal glass opposite the room.
Liu You has been hos secretary for many years so he was professinal enough not to reveal his inner thoughts.
He maintained a neutral expression and drawing out the stool opposite Jian Mengyao's stool. He placed down the file in his hands on the table and sat.
"how is the preparation out the new lipstick line coming along? Jian Mengyao asked after he took his seat.
"It been going very well sir. It already been cleared by the government agency we are now in the preparing for the launching. we are currently looking for a celebrity to endorse the lipstick line"
"Inform the team leader to hold off the search. I already have someone in mind for the Endorsement" said Jian Mengyao unpacking the various dishes and spreading them out on the table.
"Yes sir I will make sure to do that" Liu You said unsurprised. Jian Mengyao must wish to give the Endorsement to Miss Feng Mimi.
"Have the legal department draft an Endorsement contract and send it over to star Entertainment, Xue Meili's manager to be more precised" Jiang Mengyao said.
"Wha what?! Liu You exclaimed in shock. Jian Mengyao's words had left him shocked that he lost his comportment for a minute He soon got back to normal and replied "Yes sir"
Jian Mengyao had heard Liu You's first response but pretended otherwise quietly eating his meal.
"While you do that inform the accounts department to quietly withdraw the funding in all present and future projects involving Feng Mimi until they are told other wise" said Jian Mengyao as he picked up the napkin and cleaned the sides of his mouth.
Due to his current mood nothing was to his taste except maybe alcohol.
"Yes sir" Liu You replied. Thanks to Jian Mengyao"s last words he was much quicker in correcting his words.
He was however still shocked to hear this, Jian Mengyao had always secretly invested in Feng Mimi's project for years.
"I found this in my apartment when I arrived, investigate who sent this over" Jian Mengyao picked up the empty envelope that previously held the disposable Android phone and handed it over to Liu You.
"I want to get some answers as soon as possible" he said after Liu You accepted the envelope.
"Yes sir" Liu You replied.
"about the meeting tomorrow at the company.... shift it forward by an hour I will be absent from work tomorrow so the meeting with be streamed from this apartment. make sure to pass the information around" Jian Mengyao instructed drum in his fingers on the table carefully.
"Yes sir" Liu You replied.
"Don't let anyone know that I am back from the business trip not even Feng Mimi. I will be working from home for a few weeks. All documents will pass through you over to me" Jian Mengyao said.
With everything he had unearthed this night he wished to do some investigating of his own to find out what Feng Mimi is usually up to when he was away apart from the obvious
Yes Sir" Liu You replied.
"It's late you can leave now" Jian Mengyao said dismissing him.
Liu You quickly picked up his things and left the apartment. Still in a daze , he still couldn't of everything that just took place.

Meanwhile at a roadside Noddles restaurant.
"Lan'er deliver this to the couple at table 3" A middle aged woman said to her daughter. This was a family restaurant so everything was handled by the family.
The couple in question had walked in ten minutes ago. They were a beautiful couple that look very much in love. She could tell by the gentle way the man health the lady's hands.
"Yes mother" Li Lan said picking up the tray and carrying over to the table at the far corner of the room.
"Her are your orders" She said placing the plate of Noddles and side dishes on the table.
"Thanks" the male costumer replied his face turned to her.
She never would've recognized just who he was if she did hear his unique melodic voice.
"Elder brother Jung jianguo it's you, oh my am your fan. I can't believe you are here in our small restaurant" Li Lan said happily.
"Hello" he said.
"Hello oh my gawd" she said giddily. Turning to the lady sitting opposite him. She said "You must be Xue Meili"
"I am hello" Xue Meili replied.
"Awesome wow I love you too together. Your my favorite male and female actors. I was so happy when you announced you marriage. Are you done filming your series, I am looking forward to seeing the results. I know it would be so wonderful" Li lan said
"we aren't done filming yet but we'll be done in a few weeks time then it's off to post production" Xue Meili replied.
"Wow I look forward to watching you two opposite euch other. Please sign this napkin it all I have right now" Li lan said.
"Why don't I give you my shawl. We'll both sign on it" Xue Meili replied smiling.
"Wow I am so happy. thanks sister Meili" Li lan said nodding continuously.
Xie Meili picked up the pen and after gently unwrapped her shawl from her neck signed her signature then passed it over to Jung Jianguo who followed suit.
"Thanks a lot for this"Li lan said holding the shawl to her chest.
"Your welcome" Xie Meili replied.
"Thanks" Li lan said and ran back into the kitchen blushing.
"Cute" said Xue Meili smiling as she watched her run in
