章 26: The black heart of Feng Mimi 3
Lin Qiaolian was so shocked as they brought the diamond bracelet out of her bag. How did it get there, she had never seen the bracelet much less held it in her hands.
This was a surprise to her as she had never thought that this would ever happen to her. She was still trying to make sense of it all when she raised up her head and so a flash of smile spear on Feng Mimi's mouth.
Just a minute and it was gone, she soon remembered Feng Mimi's statement in the trailer. Like she said Feng Mimi really did leave her a little inscentive. This was clearly a well laid plan, there was no way around this.
Feng Mimi intended to ruin her reputation and ultimately end her career. Which Production would hire a make up artist found stealing, Feng Mimi intended to leave her no way out, all in a means to keep her dirty little secret from coming out.
"isn't that the bracelet sister Qiuyue" Zhang Qiuyue's assistant said.
"Yes it is" Zhang Qiuyue replied holding the bracelet in her hands.
"how did this come into your possession if you didn't take it, the bracelet went missing right after sister Qiuyue make up was don't. I noticed it was no longer on the table after the makeup was done but I assumed that sister Qiuyue may have put it in her bag so I didn't dwell on it but imagine my surprise when sister Qiuyue began searching for it when she was done with her scene" Zhang Qiuyue's assistant said.
"no It wasn't me Sister Qiuyue it wasn't me I have no idea how it got into my bag. I am being framed, It wasn't me that took your bracelet" Lin Qiaolian said tearing up.
"You! stop lying the bracelet was found in your bag. If you didn't take it then how did it get into your bag don't tell me it magically appeared in your bag" Zhang Qiuyue's assistant said angrily pointing her.
"Director you have to judge this case fairly" Zhang Qiuyue's assistant continued.
"No it wasn't me Director. Sister Wei you know me better, you know I would never do something like that. I am being framed you have to believe me" Lin Qiaolian said facing her boss.
"I don't know what to do Qiaolian. The bracelet was found in your bag" Sister Wei replied softly.
She was left on cross roads, the Lin Qiaolian she knows would never do something like this but it was either Lin Qiaolian or herself.
Though she was suspicious, she couldn't afford to defend her not when there was such a damning evidence.
"It wasn't me Sister Wei someone else must have put it in my bag" Lin Qiaolian said.
"If it wasn't you then was it Sister Wei. Lin Qiaolian your really something trying to put the blame on someone else when the bracelet was found in your possession" Liu Ying her female co worker in the make up team said.
"It wasn't me. You have to believe me why would I steal something like this. I didn't even know that Sister Qiuyue had this" Lin Qiaolian said.
"Why should we believe you, as to why you would steal the bracelet. Everyone knows that your brother was diagnosed with a rare heart disease. The medical fees must be very huge, your parents are dead so you may have stolen the bracelet to sell it a pay for his medical fees" Liu Ying said.
"You are wrong why would I steal a bracelet I knew nothing about" Lin Qiaolian said.
"You know nothing about it eh, please that's all lies. when all you ever talked about was sister Qiuyue's jewelry. You always ranted on how expensive it was, on how just her bracelet would be enough to pay for your brother's entire medical bills" Liu Ying replied Mockingly.
At that moment everything became a lot more clearer to her. When did she ever have any discussion with her concerning Zhang Qiuyue's jewelry. Liu Ying must be in league with Feng Mimi.
"When did we ever discuss about Sister Qiuyue's jewelry" Lin Qiaolian cried out.
"Qiuyue I think you should let this go Lin Qiaolian may not have really meant to do this. She may have just wanted to admire the bracelet and forgot to give it back. She doesn't seem to be very bad it may all be a misunderstanding" Feng Mimi said softly placing a calming hand on her cousin Zhang Qiuyue's shoulder.
"There was no misunderstanding because I never took her bracelet. Just stop pretending Feng Mimi this is all your doing. Feng Mimi just you wait one day you will get your reckoning" Lin Qiaolian shouted in anger.
Now she's seen Feng Mimi's real face, she was a snake that sheds her skin easily. One day I Lin Qiaolian will make You pay with more than just your tears.
After orchestrating everything here she is pretending to be kind to get people's admiration.
When she had basically destroyed her career, all for what so that the Jiang family would never discover her affairs.
"Lin Qiaolian you are so shameless how can you say that to Sister Mimi when all she did was try to put in a good word for you" Qiuyue's assistant said.
"Yes this Lin Qiaolian is very stupid and evil she clearly stole the bracelet yet is denying it. Feng Mimi is just trying to give her a way out and she attacks her" the crowd began to say to each other in hushed tones.
"It's alright I think Lin Qiaolian dosen't mean it. She's still in shock. Lin Qiaolian my parents are dead so I understand what it feels like to feel all alone and your left have such a big responsibility to take care of your brother. Don't worry even if you lose your job you can still work with me as my assistant. Shen Ru has given me her notice am currently in search for an assistant. if you want the job is available for you to take" Feng Mimi said.
"No need, I don't need it. I quit" Lin Qiaolian said and walked away.
"What a fool, who does she think she is hmmph". "Feng Mimi is really kind to hire a thief as her assistant. if it were me I wouldn't even give her a chance. What a fool" the rest of the crew said in hushed tones
