章 13: Sons of the Golds III
" Enzo... and now there is a Nixon too... WELCOME BOTH OF YOU!!"
Edward was right behind Asami. He looked so serious. I heard from Lowell about that Iden call, but it doesn't explain his expression. I could feel the tension coming from his eyes. He was on fire. Jealous I would say. They were the fires of JEALOUSY.
I really liked Edward, but he was not every fond of me. I was his big brother who he looked up to and he was my baby brother whom I cherished. Edward was 3 years old when I came to the GW. I left with no sign or trace left behind me.
The GW has a maturation process; a difference of 10 years. I left the SW and I was 8, when arrived in the GW- in a matter on minutes- I was eighteen. I looked like one. My time changed, my way of thinking changed. I wasn't the Enzo I knew. I wasn't Enzo that anyone knew.
The GW created for me these fake memories of the 10 years I missed.
After a year, I was allowed to go back to the SW. I could meet my family again, I could see my brother again.
I closed my eyes and then opened it again. I was back; back to where it all started. I was back to my small body. I was my 9 years old self, but not my thinking.
It was a rainy day, and I had to walk all the way back home. The road was very long. I walked for 5 hours to reach my place. I lived in a housing community that's full of rich people. REALLY RICH PEOPLE.
On that night, the sky was dark. The rain fell hard and I bet it was the start of the storms season. My clothes were wet. I always enjoyed the rain, but not that day. I saw the lighting strikes right in-front of my eyes. I saw unknown shapes. I was scared.
