Dream?
Is she dreaming?
She hoped not. And if so, she will be very glad of not waking from it. Such a sweet dream. She couldn't comprehend how happy she is right now. Receiving such surprises from him is beyond comprehension. To others, it maybe sound so simple yet to her it is one of the best memories she will ever hold dear in her entire life.
Lost in her thoughts, as they traversed the steep roads towards her next photoshoot location. Like the last time, Lyndon drive for her. Though, she wanted to drive for herself the man just won't let her do so. His reason, "It's dangerous!"
With that, she could not argue with him. She did not want to see him being furious over such small matter. It's still part of their agreement anyway, so why spoil it?
She's the only woman who can make the great Lyndon Lincoln to be the driver, bodyguard and her chaperone plus, she can even make the man her assistant. Not anyone who have the ability to do so. She's the only one who has given the privilege.
"So, you have outdoor shoot now?" he suddenly asked.
Taken aback, she was pulled out from the trance of thinking about his surprises this morning.
"Huh?" is the only word came out from her mouth because she did not clearly hear what he was saying.
"Never mind. What are you thinking?" he asked when he noticed that she was not responding clearly.
"Us..." she confessed.
"I've been thinking about it. Well, we are practically strangers even though we've met long time ago but still, it was your brother whom I spent time with and regarding it, I was thinking of forgiving him. He's already gone and that will not change so I decided to forgive him. I want to start anew with you and create our own memories." she added straightforwardly. She did not want to take things like before. She was blinded by hate and revenge but now that she was presented by the truth, she can only grasp the present. As she have been thinking, it's all in the past and nothing can be done to change it. Their present and future matters the most now.
Shocked by her confession, he almost lost his focus in driving. He immediately pulled the car over to stop at the side walk and kissed her hard. He, at the moment is so happy that no words will come out from his mouth. He can only demonstrate it to her how happy he is right now.
By his sudden action, Misha jolted by his touch. His lips fully occuppied hers. She closed her eyes and wanted to savour the moment but his kisses becoming more and more intense that she almost lost track of what's happening.
Gasping for air, both of them let go. They were catching breaths and Misha's face flushed with redness.
"Thank you. I really don't know what to say and I'm happy.. Really happy. I won't promise you anything but happiness. I want you to be happy and that's only the thing I will do with the rest of our lives." he said while kissing the back of her hand. "I love you." he added while staring at her eyes. She couldn't take anymore and bowed her head down. He seemed like saying his wedding vows to her but she clearly know the truth. It's the man's true feelings for her.
"I.. I know.." she said softly while blushing hard.
"It's not the right answer." he said with tyranny.
"What?" she confusedly asked.
"I don't want to answer that so think about it carefully." he's been kissing the back of her hand lightly and it had made Misha to feel tingling sensation within her.
Thinking about it hardly, on the other hand, Lyndon ignited the engine once again and continued driving. One hand on the steering wheel and the other hand occuppied the spaces between Misha's fingers.
They arrived at the venue.
The place was an old and abandoned cemetery.
Brandon is already there and drinking his favorite hot coffee. He then looked at the new arrived car and furrowed his brows when he saw that it was the man again. He wanted to berate the man and make him go away before he can do something unnecessary to mess up the shoots' pace.
He eyed the man from head to foot noticing that he was not dressed like a bum.
He had a light blue coat and black turtle neck sweaters with black pants. He also noticed that the man was taller than him with few centimeters.
It made him boil with anger.
He suddenly thought of someone whom he can never beat, Lyndon Lincoln.
Wait!
Is that him?
The build, the posture, the aura. Seems like him!
What will he be doing here? And wait, isn't that Misha's car? Why would he be riding in her car?
