Hu Ming picked the three-year old or so girl and held her in his arms.

"When you grow up, you will realise that the world is complicated and scary. But if you keep drinking this medicine, you will be changed. You will have the strength to defeat anyone who tries to harm you. You will even be able to protect Daddy." Hu Ming explained.

The little girl thought about it for a moment before nodding.

"Alright, I will grow strong and protect you." She said solemnly.
