章 55: The Talking Crystal (5)

Kavira had heard Lucas speak on their family and was going into dept about certain things so she decided to wake everyone up to hear what he had to say as a group. "Tell them exactly how you told me." Most of the group still looked half asleep but they were sure that if this wasn't important Kavira wouldn't have woken them up to speak to a stranger.

"I'm sorry, who's this?" Nyla couldn't keep her eyes away from the man in front of her, he had such handsome features but they were similar to Kavira's. "This is my twin brother, Lucas." Kavira picked up Lucas's right arm and showed everyone the tree brand that appeared on his forearm. "He was a born Lokath."

"Do you remember him?" Clain was wondering if she had recognized this man or had certain memories rush into her mind once seeing him. "No, he recognized me."

The all gathered around and sat in a circle facing Lucas. Kavira explained that he said she was kidnapped at a young age, their mother spent years looking for her but never found her. She eventually died from a disease after Lucas turned ten, their mother never spoke about Kavira but she never stopped looking for her.

"When Kavira went missing she didn't have that pendant and our mother had us living in the outer rim to the far east. It wasn't until after she passed that I moved to Keero and trained as a warrior. I couldn't any training so I started to work as a gate guard." Lucas was pleasantly surprised to see that his younger sister had found many people to trust but when he looked at the fawn he couldn't help and do a double take on his necklace.

"So you have no idea who kidnapped your sister.." Linx wanted to think on a few questions to ask and settled for one. "What do you know about your magic abilities and how to train them?"

"My mom taught me a few things here and there before she died. She was a Fiena just like Kavira so she was familiar with it's abilities, but she was never properly trained herself so she only showed me what little she knew." Lucas had grown to master his magical abilities in secrecy. "I can show you a few tricks later on if you're interested."

Linx nodded, he was legitimately happy to see Kavira's faint smile. All this time she had no idea who she was and even though she still has no memory she had someone to call brother, a family. "So you were born with a mark. The rest of the humans in this group have power but no mark, can you explain that?"

lucas was astonish to hear the lavender pixie's words. "That's not possible, my mother said that only those born with the mark's bare magical power. What kind of power do you all have?"

Brenda was sad to hear the same response she had already know but she was half expecting it. "Nyla is a Mertas, Clain is a Grocan, and Linx is a Minsho." Kavira pointed at each of them stating their powers. "We came here looking for the Dragon Elder compass hoping that the Elder would answer these questions for us."

Lucas acknowledged the situation. "I'll help you find the compass."

"There's no need. King Adonis has said that he will hand the compass over as soon as we go see the talking crystal tomorrow." Nyla hasn't sure what she looked like at the moment but she wanted to see this mans eyes gazing into hers.

"So that's how it is.. If you're lucky the talking crystal might be able to give you the information you seek." Lucas had only heard stories about the crystal from his mother, notes that were passed down from generation to generation. "I doubt he'll be so kind though. Nonetheless, let me come with you to speak with him tomorrow."

Kavira agreed. The group ended their conversation there and the boys went back to their room taking Lucas along with them.

"Your brother is incredible attractive." Nyla wasn't going to say anything but she couldn't resist. Brenda laughed and admitted the same things after, Kavira only gave a disgusted face and giggled with the girls. She threw her pillow at the both of them initiating a small pillow fight before they fell exhausted back to sleep.
