Not even the alpha of Thunderbolt Corp could hold her back, the woman immediately booked a private cab to send her for a last-minute flight to the capital. 

"Ahem…" Lu Zhaoyang was not—that cool-headed after all as she cleared her throat awkwardly before she continued, "I just wanted to ask—well, how did you survive the fall during the Golden Triangle war back then?" 

It was an unexpected question from Lu Zhaoyang.

"Mere luck," she said, "A long branch of a tree caught me. A sharp twig pierced into my right arm, just a scratch though. Then the branch broke off and I fell unconscious. A hunter found me and saved me."
