章 45: He Actually Saved a Big Shot

On the way to the hospital, Jiang Fei gave Zhao Feng a phone call. He briefly explained the situation, asking Zhao Feng to call it in for him. After all, there was no way he would make it for school!

Upon arriving at the hospital, the doctors asked him a few quick questions before jogging after the stretcher that was just wheeled in -- the boy lying still upon it. All of a sudden, the bustle died down, and Jiang Fei was left to sit by his lonesome in the dead silent hospital corridor.

"Hey! Do you have a minute!"

It was a medic who had stopped him back at the accident site.

"Me?" Jiang Fei looked around, making sure that it was him she wanted.

"Of course I'm calling you. The cops are here, they'd like to have a word," she said.

"Okay!" Jiang Fei nodded. He followed the medic and got his statement recorded down. Now, he truly had nothing left to do here!
