章 126: Confrontation

When Midori was making tea in the office pantry, Ryuuji suddenly walked in.

She tried to take her cup and walk out, but he grabbed her arm.

"Midori, can we talk?" His eyes were filled with worry.

Her lips shook subtly. She wanted to run away from this confrontation as much as she can, but it seemed that time ran out.

She sighed. "What is it?"

Takagi Ryuuji frowned at how she pretended not to know the issue at hand.

"About that night, during dinner...why did you let that guy drag you out while you were eating?"

She gulped. She expected him to be straightforward, but she was still taken aback by how tactful he was.

She did not have the chance to answer as he continued, "Even if you got back together with him, he still had no right to humiliate you like that!"
