And like before skeletons stop spawning after an hour. And we get our well deserved rest. While waiting for the next wave I enter my Soul Palace and check out the Interface.

Even though my level increased, there isn't much of a change in my attributes. I guess that is reasonable. It seems it will take lot more to reach the rank A. Both Fenrir and Noir were blessed with high body potential and as their level increase, their body potential rank increase too.
I'm sure my body attribute will increase along with my level. But I don't think my mana vessel rank will increase along with my level. As soon as it reached rank B+ I started to get a feeling of it being full. My mana vessel works like a steam network. My brain cells store mana and in turn that mana nurtures and tempers my brain cells while going through them.
But since my mana vessel rank reached B+ mana may flow along my mana cells but it stopped nurturing and tempering my brain cells. Thus, stopping increase of my mana vessel rank.
And I have been thinking for a while about now. So, conclusion I reached after long pondering is that quality of my mana is no longer sufficient to nurture my brain cells to enable them to reach A rank. Well, at least that is what I thought at first.
But what tree said made me crush that though process. The tree said that quality of my mana is determined by the rank of my Soul Root. And rank of my Soul Root is triple S. So, there is no way that quality of my converted mana is insufficient.
That made me think of another reason. If the quality is sufficient, then that means quantity is insufficient. But I can feel my mana vessel is full. So, what should I do to increase the quantity of mana in my mana vessel? That was easy to figure out.
First of all, mana exists in a fog like form in my brain cells. But it is hard to actually quantify fog with certainty. So, that got me thinking what do I do to quantify that steam.
That is to simply turn that steam into water. So, turn my gaseous mana into liquid. In case of steam all that is needed to turn it into water is to cool it. But only thing that is similar about my mana to steam is its gaseous form.
So, even if I somehow manage to cool it, I highly doubt that it will turn into liquid form. Then, that only leaves pressure. Any gas can be turned into liquid by increasing the pressure.
Now, questing is how do I increase the pressure inside my brain cells. I can't very well shrink my brain cells. That means it needs to be in liquid form before it enters my brain cells.
But that would pose another problem. Mana can travel within my body because of its gaseous form. So, if it turns into liquid it can't reach my brain cells as easily. I need to figure that out.
My black hole is located at the center of my body. At my chest. And while concentrating on that I hear my heart pumping. As I hear my heart a light bulb goes on in my head.
Closest thing to my black hole is my heart. And heart pumps blood which is a liquid to every part of my body. I need pressure to turn my mana in gaseous form into liquid form. And I think I can use blood pressure to achieve that.
Normal resting blood pressure in adult is about sixteen kilopascal. Let's hope that is enough pressure to turn the mana into liquid form.
So, I will mana converted from Pure Energy into my heart instead of my brain. And as my mana enters my heart, every pump of my heart turns the gaseous mana into liquid. But as that happens, the liquid mana starts to mix with my blood. And that kind of increases the quantity of my blood. In turn that increases my blood pressure.
As my blood pressure increase I start to get shortness of breath and headache. And I can feel my veins getting strained from increase in quantity of my blood. But at the same time, I can feel the mixture of mana and blood coursing through my veins nurturing my veins, making them more robust.
And only after about hour hypertension and headache stop. Whew, that was painful. Still, I can feel my mana vessel starting to get nurtured again as the mana mixed with my blood courses through them.
Now that mana is coursing through every part of my body I can use my spells with unprecedented ease. Before it took about 0.1 second for the mana to travel around my body. Now I can do it in instant.
And that makes thing much more easier and faster. That took a lot out of me. I need sleep.

RUMBLE.
I wake up to earthquake. As I look around I see that the three roads converging into one. Ooh, I'm smelling boss.
And just as I expected I see the boss walking toward me. And I have no idea what hell is it. But I will admit, it looks cool.
Quadrupedal monster with lupine features. Highly developed limbs. Looks like a bodybuilder. About three meters tall. Frighteningly sharp fangs, claws like sword and spikes jutting out along its spine.
Most scary part is: there is an electrical charge being discharged by its spikes. It simply walks toward me slowly and stops about ten meters away from me.
Glorious.
It suddenly opens its mouth and shoots lightning at me. As it was too sudden I fail to dodge it get electrocuted. As this discharge was one shot, I simply get little bit paralyzed.
After shooting at me, it lunges toward me.
"Noir."
I call out to Noir, he bursts out of the ground beside it with his original size and rams into it. The beast gets thrown away and stands up to roar at Noir. I summon my katana and run toward it.
As soon as I enter its rang, it swipes at me with his sword like claws. I dash forward to just barely dodge its claws. But get little bit of electrocuted by the passing discharge. That was close.
After closing on it, I swing my katana and slice it front right leg. But its limbs are sturdy. My katana only manages to slice its scales and draw blood, not cut of its leg.
And just as I cut its leg, it suddenly discharges more electricity to zap me. I get zapped bad. This reminds me of a fight with that succubus. And since it is similar, I do what I did then. I simply nail myself to the ground to ground myself.
Then, the ground absorbs electricity coursing through my body. It lasts for about ten seconds. The beast believes me dead and growls toward Noir threateningly. And just as it was about to run toward Noir, I plunge my katana into is belly.
Without knowing that the beast runs toward Noir and while doing that, my katana manages to cut its belly, albeit shallow.
Still, it wounds the beast as it stops mid-charge and turns around to look at me. Seeing me alive, I can see its shock and anger in its eyes.
ROAR!
It roars at me and charges toward me.
"Fenrir."
Like Noir, Fenrir jumps out of its shadow and rams into its side. After all, size does matter. And while the beast was standing up, I start to channel my new spell. Even though it has a proper spell matrix, it takes a time to cast it.
It stands up and looks at Fenrir. But it still charges toward me after getting up. I guess I hurt it pretty badly.
And I can't move while channeling my lava dragon. So, I simply clench my butt and brace for impact. It lowers its head and rams straight into my chest.
I cough up blood and flies away. And since I'm still channeling my spell, I can't use micro explosions to reduce my inertia. Without much choice, I hit the white brick wall and fall on the ground.
As I hit the ground my head gets dizzy. But I do my best and clench my teeth to endure the dizziness. If I lose focus my spell will be canceled.
And thanks to my endurance I finally manage to finish channeling my new spell. Seeing that I'm still alive the beast charges toward me again. Noir and Fenrir moves to intercept the beast, but I stop them.
I unleash my lava dragon toward it as soon as it starts its charge toward me. As I release it, spell matrix with about two-meter radius materializes from my palm and from there comes out a dragon made out of molten lava flies toward the beast. And it does not roar like those in movies and animes.
The beast ignores my lava dragon and continues to charge toward me.
BOOM!
My lava dragon and the beast collide with glorious boom. As it collides with my lava dragon, I see it discharging electrical charges around. But unfortunately for it, there isn't much it can do against my lava dragon.
As I supply my spell matrix with more mana, my lava dragon continues to bombard the beast. Each time it hits the beast, lava sprays around the beast. After few seconds, the beast is almost covered completely by my lava.
Even after getting buried by my lava, the beast still continues to struggle under it. So, I release water dragon toward the lava.
HSSSSS
As the lava cools, it turns into volcanic rock. But even after that, I don't get confirmation that the beast is dead. If the beast was dead, I should be getting its life force. But I'm still yet to get it, so I can only conclude that the beast is still alive.
Then, my only choice is to wait. Fucking beast makes me wait for more than ten minutes. Still, after ten minutes, I get its life force.
Now we wait for the next wave.
