before i start,this novel is great and one of the best on the site. but many people may drop this after v2 is complete. basically first two volumes just think are fillers with comedy while from 3rd volume you get into alex's past and the story becomes less funny and slightly dark. i would have liked the story to be funny throughout but don't mind me still the story is nice after 2nd volume but i prefer the first 2. my fav part of the story which i rarely ever tell was the harem. one of the rare time i wanted a harem because eva deserved it even after fighting in losing cause for alex's love and there were only 2 members if anyone doesn't like harem.

I thought I would make another review after having finished reading it. Please enjoy this spoiler free review. Overall it’s a great read. While there were little things that bothered me here and there, it’s not bad. The grammar was great, with minimal mistakes (to my recollection). Where and were, were interchanged on a frequent basis, but that’s it, aside from proper terms being not used like great uncle was instead used as “other grandfather”. The writing quality was pretty good and grew it would seem as he wrote. The story progression was also great. With the story only dragging a few times (at least for me). The characters all grow, especially the MC (Alex). Alex grows quite a bit. The author ended the story with a promise of a sequel, but as of writing this review the sequel is listed as being on hiatus with only 17 chapters (18 including a note, saying he didn’t like the way it’s started and is going to restart it). By no means is the story left on a cliffhanger. The book came to a close, but left room for the sequel, especially with how it ended. Although I will say, as of at this moment the sequel isn’t based around Alex, but it does seem interesting. It’s also set years after the events of this book. I think around 10 years after, but I could be wrong. Anyways to wrap things up, the book was rather enjoyable. Some tears were shed as I read, alongside of laughs and overall enjoyment. I would recommend the read, but everyone is different in their tastes, so maybe you won’t like it, who knows. At the very least if the summary interests you, give it a try, it might surprise you.

I have completed reading this story and I am too disappointed. I regret reading it so much. The story development from modern age then war and then comes a time where human suddenly gain super power and fighting with animals who became stronger? And dying of the important character one after another. The thing I feel so revulsive and nauseating is the lead Alex married both Rachel and eva at the same time and plus both the ladies have birth and live together. They shared partners under one roof....so they were fucking turn by turn. And atlast, those who died are in heaven....fighting and drinking together with there enemy. Seriously, don't go for this story of you are looking for a realistic story. It's pathetic.

I’ve probably left a review before but thought I’d make a new one now that I’m further in. The story is quite enjoyable and you get to watch the characters grow. It’s not a quick growth either like some stories where it seems way too fast and quite impossible. While the Tory does have some parts that seem to be slow, I wouldn’t say it drags either. There have been times where I take a break, but that’s more so just a break from reading books (ebooks). Ultimately I always plan to pick up reading the story again. If you’re looking for a fast paced book, this isn’t it. If you’re looking for a good read that’s enjoyable and might even make you smile because of the characters or even laugh a little, this is it. Also the score for updating I put to 4 because the book is finished (correct me if I’m wrong) and I have no idea how it was with it’s updating so I gave a 4 instead of a 5 for something that I know nothing of

The story is now over, and what a ride it's been. From a tale of the underdog who believed in himself and his comrades to befriending foes and earning the respect of others as well as finding his love and making a family after all his adventures but still having the vigor to continue beyond this book's end, I've enjoyed it all. The relationships, friendships, and battles were all tastefully done with a mix of different known genres like wuxia which might be unexpected, that shift to fantasy, but it all works along with all the grueling cliff hangers. My only wish is that the ending felt more definite but then again, it's kinda okay to feel that the story still continues (and it technically does lol). I felt like Epilogue 2 was more of an end with his son rather than the true final chapter but whatever, doesn't matter in the scheme of things. Great story and writing, thank you author lyner for sticking with it and finishing for us readers!

I thought this was going to be a serious war fiction but I'm glad that it started off light and simple. The comedy is very good thanks to the one-liners of the main character and his personality. I wish to see more development from the female lead as well.
