This novel is simply one of the best I've come across so far and i think its up there with some of the all time best and its sure gonna make the best of all time...i love it!😎
I really enjoyed reading the story and cannot wait for the next chapter translation. It’s very different from the drama, the novel itself is more intriguing.

Read the reviews and it was a bit confusing and difficult to understand the plots. There are many half plots and I guess it is more difficult than the tv drama.

This novel is not that interesting and I wouldn't recommend it for anyone. You can't understand the translation and I haven't even read the whole novel yet so yeah it's totally boring. Uh I just hope the author can do their best to make more novels in the future.
The chapters don't follow the book exactl y, but I'm still living this translation! It is very different from the drama, even though the drama is based on the book. I can't wait to read to the end!
This novel is pretty good. Reading in novel actually better than the movie because I don’t need to focus both at the action and subtitles and some action in the novel can’t be performed well in the movie. *o*

Well yt didn't provide English subtitles for half of the series only after i got real engrossed with the series so I'm here...it's not a bad read but the translators could do better... Its a historical novel after all...the usage of modern day slangs should be controlled.. The story gets confusing at times. All in all..I've had a good time reading this book. Really loved Fuyao and had a wonderful journey with her as she blossomed, matured, found love, took over enemies, made loyal friends and succeeded in her ventures. The chapters are short but not so short, long but not so long. Well idk if that even makes sense but I would definitely recommend this novel...5his is my first time reading Chinese historical novels but...here's a big thumbs up from my side. This is my favorite tv drama and wuxia novel so far so I Bought the actual 6-book novel and used Google Translate to read. Not bad when I finally deciphered the terms. I’m trying to find where we currently are to compare the translation details and will update this review.
I also wonder at the price of each novel?!? However, I must concede that the website also gives away a substantial amount of SS. I am missing a large number of SS b/c I was unaware that you are suppossed to receive SS for the hours of reading completed each week. I never got those; AND, every three chapters read on the app entitle one to 15 free SS. I never got those either. I shall be writing to the webmaster today.
I don't feel that a reader should be asked to "judge" and "rate a review" of TRANSLATIONS for the latter three questions: story development, character design, and world background. These are not in the control of the translator so it's worthless to ask theses questions. What this particular translation lacks is COHERENCY. I think that the question re "translation quality" should be broken into multiple areas.
