章 72: Now Choose!
Ren at first was having fun with the sheer volume of the summons that wanted to form a contract with him, but now that it has been a full three hours its just irritating. While the summoned beings were arguing Ren tried to analyze the summoning spell using the skill mana manipulation. When Ren started analyzing the spell he found out the summoning spell was actually a combination of dozens of other spells.
Ren couldn't really fully understand the workings of the summoning spell, he tried his best but he could only alter it a little. Though a little from Ren is a totally different scale from the little of other peoples perception of the word.
"Hey you guys I will count to twenty and I want the six youngest and most powerful among you to stay while the rest can buzz off!" When the summoned beings heard Ren's haughty statement, they were angered. Who are they? they were GODS, DEMON LORDS, HEROES, DRAGONS, and every possible powerful existence in the universe or any dimension. Yet here stood a mere mortal ordering them.
The pride of such beings made them want to crush the boy who talked to them so arrogantly, yet they couldn't. The presence they felt hidden deep inside the boy was not something anyone of them could handle, even if all of them combined their powers and fight, only total annihilation could be the outcome if they fought such a being.
The first to leave were the old summoned beings, the old ones were reluctant to go but as they heard Ren's countdown they were forced to go. The remaining summoned beings started to release their mana. The mana they released was within their own dimensions which were as far as thousands of light years away yet you could still somehow feel their overwhelming, intoxicating presence.
All of their mana output seem the same with only tiny differences once they were done, the other summoned beings left dejectedly, and those who remain stood proudly.
Most of the thousands of lights had dispersed and what was left was six brightly lit orbs of light. Ren now focused on the remaining summoned beings and once again asked them to tell him why he should pick one of them.
The first one to speak was a haughty little loli girl with scales covering tiny parts of her body, her bloody red eyes stared at Ren as she smiled showing of her fangs. "You can pick me master. I am a Vampiric Dragon. I have all the strengths of both the Dragon race and the Vampire race, and none of their weaknesses. To top it all off I'm ultra cute." The Vampiric Dragon did a cute idol like pose with a peace sign.
The next one to speak was a woman with a seductive voice and body. She had black wings attached to her back, Her air of seduction could've made any man have an erection if they looked at her. "You should pick me master. I can see based on your equipment that you like to have a fight in a close and manly way. I who was once an angel am very good at using support magic, and I'm strong in combat as well. I can compliment your skills in the battlefield, as well as your skills in the bed." The fallen angel released the strongest charm skill she had, but it did not do anything to Ren. Seeing Ren's reaction or lack of one, made the fallen angel even more aroused. She licked her lips seductively but was still unable to attract much attention from Ren.
The next one to speak were two voices both sounding young yet old, male yet female. "It is we who you should pick to summon master." Beyond the light Ren saw two short swords of exquisite beauty one was a pure black blade, its darkness looked darker than the deepest abyss. The other sword was a pure blue sword, which looked like it reflected the very sky itself. "We are summoned as a pair, we are beings that govern over Chaos, and Serenity. He who wields us is destined to walk the path of the king of kings!"
A very boisterous voice was next to speak. Inside the flickering light was a man who was chained from every part of his body, he was even blindfolded, and the only part that can seem to move was his mouth. "Kakakaka, pick me and together we can thread the path of the strongest! I am the youngest yet strongest God in my universe. Those foolish Elders of mine sealed me and stripped me of my powers, not only that they even drain my very mana every second. If I was in my top form I would be the only one standing here in front of you... Release me and form a contract with me, help me take revenge on those foolish beings that call themselves Gods, and in return I will offer you my everything!"
The one who spoke next was female voice with no distinct tone. When Ren looked at the light what he saw beyond was nothingness, something Dark was blocking his view. "No need to listen to weaklings! I am Ravina the Demon God of Creation! There is nothing you should know except I by myself am the sole God of my whole universe."
The last to speak was one who held a solemn voice. There inside the white orb stood a man in a hill of swords, his red cape fluttered in that lonely world of his. "There is nothing to say, except if you pick me I shall do everything in my power to fulfill your commands..."
The six remaining summons have introduced themselves, now Ren started to think on who to pick. Michael and Cerberus who watched the whole scene from beyond the summoning circle was excited to see who Ren would pick as his summon. Since all of them were such powerful legendary beings, to Michael no matter who Ren would pick their could be no one in this world who could face its might!
