章 2: The God Of Battle's Inheritance
8 years later...
Currently, Lin Lei is of the age to awaken his battle spirit.
"Little Lei before I give you this Spirit Awakening pill I must go over what a battle spirit is. Do you understand?"
"Yes!" Lin Lei said while brimming with excitement.
"Ok now listen closely because I won't repeat it. A battle spirit is a dormant character trait every person has and can only be awakened through this pill. Just like me, my character trait is that of a 6 winged tiger which grants me incredible strength, the ability to fly and keen senses when I active my battle spirit just like this." father Lin said while activating his character trait.
In a split second, three sets of semi transparent blue wings popped out from father Lin's back, his yellow eyes turned into a sharp glare and last but not least his muscles started to bulge out making them more well defined and powerful.
"Soo cool! When can I be like you?!?" Lin Lei shouted in excitement.
"Very soon now. Lin Lei sit down cross legged and swallow this pill. I want you to think of as little things as possible and wait for the pills effect to take place." father Lin said.
Listening to his fathers instructions, Lin Lei sat cross legged and started to clear his mind and sure enough, he later found himself in a white plane as far as the eyes can see.
"You've finally come." a man's echo resounded through the air.
"Is there someone here?" Lin Lei said a little frightened. Of course he would be after all he's still 8 years old.
Suddenly, a man with a large sword appeared near Lin Lei giving a good enough distance to see the mans whole body. This man had a red halo above his head not blonde, but golden colored hair matched with his golden eyes and a aura of absolute strength and dominance looking down at this boy with caring eyes as if Lin Lei was his own kin and asked one question.
"Why do you seek power."
Pondering a little bit, he said "Isn't that simple? It's to rule the universe hehehe" Lin Lei giggled while giving a simple answer
The man smirked. "Yes! Power is for absolute domination! Power isn't something gained to protect your loved ones but gained solely to rule and dominate above the rest! With power, you can make kings grovel beneath your feet and queens lust after you! As one of the eight original gods that you, my successor has awakened with the last strand of my consciousness I the god of battle has left, I shall transfer you all of my battle knowledge and strength!" The God of Battle stated.
Without waiting for Lin Lei to reply, the God of Battle touched Lin Lei's head transferring over knowledge countless images of battle techniques ranging from spear and sword arts to fire and wind magic. Martial Arts, cultivation techniques, forging, crafting, pill concoction, ray formations, anything that was even remotely related to fighting and battles was instantly bombarded in Lin Lei's head causing a massive headache and collapsed after the God of Battle disappeared with a grand and majestic smile as if bidding farewell to his life knowing his legacy will continue.

4 years later in the main hospital of Dragon City.
"It's already been four years since the patient Lin Lei collapsed trying to awaken his battle spirit hasn't it?" said nurse A said as she and Nurse B started to check up on patient Lin Lei.
"Haa.... that boy was such a good child always having a bright smile on his face and treating us lowly worker class with respect and no arrogance. It's such a shame but it's weird. I've never heard of someone collapsing during the awakening of their battle spirit." said nurse B.
"Don't you know that theirs a rumor going around that the Spirit Awakening Pill he took was poisoned?" Nurse A said.
"Of course I know the rumors! Since patient Lin Lei was a threat to them as the successor of the Lin clan, wasn't one of the other two main clans Feng or Wang the ones responsible?" Nurse B said quick to reply after finishing treating patient Lin Lei with Nurse A and left the room.
Shortly after the two nurses left, Lin Lei opens his eyes with a golden flash passing through them before returning to his usual purple colored eyes. Right now Lin Lei was 12 years old and had well defined muscles as if his body was immensely reconstructed over the past 4 years. While unconscious, Lin Lei was seeing images of foreign memories flash through and engraved into his brain at speeds even faster than light creating an aura of a king knowing no equals standing above the universe but quickly disappeared as fast as it appeared as if controlled.
"4 years huh. I need a pen and paper.." Lin Lei thought eager to find one but found that he couldn't move properly which was to be expected after not moving his limbs for 4 years.
As he quickly recovered to a state suitable to move, he saw a bouquet of flowers with a get well soon card. Taking the card Lin Lei said "This will do." as he bit his finger and drew a formation on the back of the card with his blood. After a little while, the card shone for a split second as the blood started to get rearranged and this is what it wrote as Lin Lei looked at the card.
