A white talisman the size of a hand appeared in the Metenoa Family Autarch's hand. It was engraved in crimson markings, runes that Davis and the others had never seen before.

However, she knew she was too late as the severed hand possessed enough energy to activate the talisman, causing her to retreat along with the Metenoa Family Autarch's in tow. Her scythe was like a hook when it latches on. She dragged him along with her but suddenly two black-robed figures appeared beside the glowing talisman.
