Xiao Chao and Xiao Hong were both left behind as the new generation were heading speedily outside of the palace.

Xiao Chao walked over to Xiao Hong who had been standing up with his nose quivering in the air.

"So, she's the next heaven's chosen one? The one you've been waiting for?" It was Xiao Hong who asked his wise friend.

"Hm," Xiao Chao agreed with a voice from his throat before speaking, "Either the beginning of darkness or the end of it...we shall wait and see how she manages herself. With that dark curse on her it both save her in times of need but it'll also drain out the pure energy from her. We'll have to see if that Bao Bao doesn't realize about this curse first."

Xiao Hong nodded along.

"Have you seen that old filthy bird heading this way?" Xiao Chao asked.

"Yeah, just missing each other, if I hadn't called her to stop, she would have already stumbled inside the willow forest."
