Exlor ANNOUNCEMENT: SECOND MECH DESIGN SUBMISSION CONTEST!
The Mech Touch is 4000 chapters old, and that means another contest!
This time is another Mech Design Submission Contest, and the rules are similar to last time.
Mech Design Rules
Suggest any ORIGINAL second-class mech (no ripoffs from other books or shows!) that can be designed by the mech designers of the Larkinson Clan! You may submit a commercial mech, a commissioned mech or a Larkinson-exclusive mech. Make sure you mention the mech type and the design spirit as well. Look at the example I provided.
Point System
Just like previous contests, you must quantify the performance of your mech design by allocating 10 points in the following categories:
Offense (?/10)
Defense (?/10)
Mobility (?/10)
Utility (?/10)
Your mech design description must match your point allocation. If not, your submission will be disqualified.
The minimum point for a category is 0. 2 to 3 points is average. 4 is good. 5 is excellent. 6 is extreme.
Submission Details
This contest will run for 15 days from 18:00 CET, August 8, 2022 to 18:00 CET August 23, 2022.
You can post 3 original mech design submissions at most. One at most can only be posted in the following places:
-The comments of Chapter 3960 on Webnovel.com
-The comments of Chapter 4002 on Webnovel.com
-The #events-submission channel on The Mech Touch's Unofficial Discord server
I will determine the winners on the Discord server at 21:00 CET August 23, 2022. I will select up to 5 winning submissions through selection and 1 submission by random lottery.
Rules
-Scores: Mech designs will be evaluated by me through numerical scores. If you are not satisfied with my scores, you can delete your original submissions and post a new or revised version if you want to gain a higher score. You can do this as many times as you want until the deadline.
I will evaluate your submission with the following scoring criteria:
Power: 1 to 10
Usefulness: 1 to 10
Personality: 0 to 50
Affordability: 1 to 10
Excess: 0 to -100
Mech submissions with the highest total score will have higher chances of winning this contest.
-Technology: Do not add too much confusing or overpowering tech. If I cannot understand your descriptions, then I will disqualify your mech. Focus on the mech concept and value proposition rather than excessive technical data.
-Length: Try and be concise while adding enough detail. If your submission is too short, it will be disqualified due to low effort. 500 words is sufficient.
-PLAGIARISM: DO NOT PLAGIARIZE OTHER ANIMES, BOOKS, TV SHOWS OR MOVIES! ALSO DO NOT RIP OFF OTHER IMAGES FROM THE INTERNET! IF YOU CANNOT COME UP WITH SOMETHING ORIGINAL, DON'T BOTHER PARTICIPATING!
