章 10: Chapter 10

DEVIL'S POV

'Something is definitely odd about that girl , everytime i see her,I get the feeling that their is something more to her. No one has ever made me feel so free and calm like her presence does to me'.

I kept on thinking and contemplating about our new resident, disregarding the meeting in front of me

"Your highness"

Fabian my personal commander called out making me come out of my head.

"Are you okay?"

Series of faces turned towards me,some concerned and the others trying to keep their head by faking concern.

"Hm ..am fine"

"Tell me,why isn't Lust here?, isn't he suppose to be in this chamber of secrets meeting?" It felt like I was about to erupt. Lust knows how much skipping a meeting annoys me,but he does it nontheless. This is not the first time or the second. Sometimes I feel like clipping that boy's wings.

"Father, I think I saw him leave hell last night"Rage replied.

That's interesting,why will lust leave hell without telling me. That boy is up to something and something tells me it has to do with that girl.

"Ok, everybody leave"I could feel the change in the energy around me. They are not happy with what I just said ,but no one is brave enough to speak.

"Is their a problem?"I asked looking at all their faces intensely.

"No your highness" They all replied , standing up to leave.

Immediately they all left, I couldn't keep still anymore,so I stood up and kept on moving up and down.

"Sir are you sure you are fine?, Do you need me to do anything for you?"Fabian asked.

"You know what ,yes! I need you to get me the blood of that girl, But she shouldn't know that you took her blood, am I clear?"I need to know what's so special about her blood.

I have been curious every since she told me Lilith brought her here,then I got to find out that her blood is dangerous to humans. Who is that girl?. Something doesn't add up.

"Yes sir,I will do that right away"Fabian said moving towards the door

"Oh and Fabian?"I turned towards him

"Yes sir"

"If by any chance you ruin it,it would be best you behead your self ,cause if I do it,their will be no second resurrection for you"I stared at him so much my eyes became bloodshot and my fangs elongated.

"O-ok sir"He stuttered and stumbled out of the room.

"Lilith you know I can feel your presence right,show yourself and stop this silly game am not in the mood" Lilith has formed this habit of always beaming herself into the room and staying in the shadows where I don't see her. She always forgets that am the king of hell. No one deceives me,I do that.

"You are no fun Demora"She chuckled finally materializing herself.

She took a sit at the round table , making me sit with her.

"Here,have some wine and calm down"She offered me a glass of wine she came with.

I drowned the entire blood content in the glass.

"Wow... you are worried,why?"She asked.

"Tell me Lilith, why did you bring that girl here? And don't lie to me,I know you better than anyone. Their is more to it than just her blood being sweet and dangerous."I moved closer to her staring at her, trying to make out any lie she is about to spill.

She took in a deep breath and smiled

"You are one person I can never outsmart"

"Am glad you know that,now talk"I said to her.

"That girl is no human, I have tasted her blood before you annoyingly stopped me"She replied glaring at me.

I couldn't help chuckling, Lilith and her antics never ends.

I nodded for her to continue.

"Before she was brought here,I consulted the Oracle and she said that their was a prophesy of a child of hell,whose blood will do great evil and great good. She can be a light or darkness whichever path she chooses but her destiny is connected to all. Her blood will kill and heal. Dangerous to those who can't comprehend it's powers and that her powers will be activated when she clocks 10 and manifest when she is 18. Those were her exact words" Lilith replied.

I knew it,something didn't add up about that girl.

"Hmm...so she is special and definitely not human. You said child of hell, which means she has to have a demon parent either father or mother or both. Who is her parent and who dare mate with a human" I asked staring at her. Something tells me Lilith knows more than she lets on. She is not a stupid woman. She is the smartest person I know, before she does anything ,she makes thorough research.

"Lilith?"I called out to her suspiciously

"What else are you not telling me about that girl?"I asked her.

She sighed and took in a deep breath.

"That day I took her blood Demora,I felt my powers undergo a surge, for a few moment their ,I felt an increase in my powers. This girl is a walking time bomb. She is too powerful to be an ordinary demon's daughter. I found out that her mother is really a human and that man who she believes to be her father that she said was taken by the forsakens, cannot be her father for he is human too."She said seriously.

"Hmm....which means her mother knows something and isn't saying it. What's her mothers name?"I asked

"Laura;Laura Smith, that's her name"She replied.

"Send two demons to watch this woman and find out everything about her. Her history, her past,everything. " I said to her

"Meanwhile, I do not remember releasing the forsakens the day that girl's father was taken. Which makes me wonder ,who did"I said staring at her. Something deep tells me that Lilith is involved in this more than she lets on.

"Don't provoke my hands Lilith,speak up!"

"Fine. I did okay, I let them out specifically to kill the girl but they took and killed her father instead."She replied, looking everywhere but on me.

"How old was she then Lilith?"My tone has dropped to an octave level with how much my rage is rising. She is lucky I love her.

"She was 16,it was on her birthday"She said keeping her head down.

"Hmm... something tells me you met that Oracle years ago and not recently, am I right?"I asked her

"Y-yes d-demora, I found out about her a long time ago,I have been watching her ever since she was a baby and I planned bringing her here not for her blood but to kill her."She said

"Lilith ... Lilith ... Lilith what do I say about crossing me hm?"I asked her while getting up

"Why did you do that?"I asked her standing behind her and placing my hands on her shoulder.

"T-the Oracle said that when she reaches 10 her powers will be activated so I tried k-killing her that day but she always manages to escape,but on her 16th birthday I made a plan and it matched with the day the forsakens gets released so decided to end it all"She replied scared.

"Who is her father Lilith?!"I could already feel my fangs elongate and my horns are already out and angrily standing. My eyes are already blood shot . Lilith kept on shaking ,I can smell her fear.

"TELL ME!!!"My voice boomed around the walls of the room.

"H-her f-father i-is ...."

"Is who??"I asked angrily

"You!"she replied...
