章 222: Checking in on his girls

Given the chaos of yesterday, Kellen wasn't sure what to expect when they went down to the Medical Bay. He knew it was usually a quiet place, but he wasn't sure if it would be maintained into today. 

He should have known better. Taylor wasn't the kind of person who would let something like an assassination attempt ruin her peace and quiet. 

The hallways remained quiet. It wasn't in an eerie way, but in the way that this felt like a sacred place. Human voices shouldn't be too loud in a place like this. 

Rhys seemed to know where he was going, and Kellen didn't question it. He assumed it had something to do with either power levels, or Rhys remembered what room they had been in yesterday. To Kellen, the doors all looked the same, and he had been quite tired the day before. He was lucky he knew what doors they used for guiding since they all looked the same.
