This is a story where a person what stage 4 brain stem cancer who discovered the system, and the supernatural events that followed. This book was set in a very Cthulhu background, with the mentioning of of the the old ones and perhaps hastur, which caused quiet a bit of damage during the road. With those tidbit away, this book has replicated the atmosphere of a world that was always under the threat of delirium, insanity and unspeakable forces very well, however this book was jam packed with medical knowledge ( which depends on your taste), can be enjoying or frustrating to read. Overall a great book that's not too bad.
