Hirvan burst out of the company, his strides purposeful and hurried. The morning sun cast sharp shadows across his face as he spotted a sleek black car idling at the curb. Without hesitation, he yanked open the passenger side door and slid inside. Inside, the faint scent of leather and cologne greeted him as he turned toward the driver's seat.

"What are you doing here? Has something happened?"

"Nothing. I had just some free time."

"Liar. It's a work day, and President Lu has suddenly nothing better to do than to show up here?!"

Hirvan said, rolling his eyes.

Earlier, Hirvan had been texting Lu Hanbing to let him know he was heading to Ren Company. In response, Lu Hanbing insisted on coming over to drive him there.
