Well only because he never had to use full force. If he goes all out it is war or to protect someone he cares enough for. (he could have opened 8 gates to protect Hokage from dying during Orochimarus invasion, but you saw him "casually" for his standards fighting the enemys instead of going all out instantly.
He knew that Might Guy was undoubtedly the strongest physical ninja in Konoha Village. But even so, he could not pose too much of a threat to Konoha. As his disciple, it was even more impossible for Yato to harm the village.

I would say no, it doesn´t really "fit" his melee style. might as well give him the "thunder fruit" as kekkei genkai as it can be integrated into this world fairly easy.
2- buy shadow manipulation as his second Kekkei Genkai.

Yeah when the shippuden time skip comes, he will retreat into his heavenly grotto to ascend a higher lvl because after that there is no real time to grow stronger fast. maybe a kirin will be his thunder tribulation.
As a ninja who breaks the limits of the body, hard work and persistence alone wouldn't make him stronger. He also needed external medicines to supplement his body with nutrients so that the cells could absorb more energy, increasing his chakra capacity.

well technically it is a Manager system. if he one day gets bored he can Hire a "good" coach like Guardiola, Klopp etc. and concentrate on being a owner/manager and enjoy life a little bit. otherwise he will risk burn out if he does 3/4 jobs at the same time.

hm i think the main question is how long Blackbeard will stay captain. (i wouldn`t be surprised as a villain) that he backstabs Blackbeard at some point, if his team has all the fruits he need etc. (I mean we can`t have our MC stay vice captain all the time right?)
