So his parents are just people who prioritize reputation above family, but I wonder, do they only treat the MC with such indifference, or would they have treated their daughter the same way if she didn’t live up to their expectations?

This volume was amazing! Now I’m even more invested in the story.
Thank you for your response! I’d like to ask, without any spoilers—should I expect his exile from the family to be permanent, or will there be a chance for him to return?
Hello! The story has been quite captivating so far, and I’m really enjoying it. However, there’s something I don’t quite understand—his family abandoning him. I mean, even if he became a drunkard, a disappointment, and was disowned, wouldn’t they at least ensure his safety or check on him to some degree? For instance, even if his father and sister hate him, wouldn’t his mother at least try to make sure someone is protecting him from the shadows? So, I wanted to ask: will his relationship with his family remain strained until the end of the story, or will there be some kind of reconciliation or development? 🤔 Additionally, will the main character continue relying solely on himself throughout the story, or will he make use of his family’s influence at some point? Considering they are one of the most powerful families in this world, I think it would make sense for him to benefit from their resources at some stage.
Thank you for the chapter! Also, why do I feel like there's a bias towards female characters? I mean, when it comes to noble characters, aren't there any male heirs who are maybe talented in combat or have a strategic mind? I just wish we could see more young male noble characters in the academy who aren't simps for someone or mere shadows of other characters. I think adding a true leader-like male character would be a great addition to the story and a fantastic complement to the main cast. To put it simply, I think it would be really interesting to see a young male noble act like a real person in a position of power, instead of making them all fools, villains, or having their ultimate goal be chasing women.
Thank you for your response. I understand that the purpose is to avoid drawing attention, as it would be difficult to explain his powers. However, what bothers me is the lack of ambition and pride in him. Specifically, if his goal is merely to stay alive, it might become somewhat boring because even people like him should have desires and ambitions, even if they’re small. I just want to know, will he continue with the same mindset, or will there be character development? Also, I believe it would be foolish not to take the Patriarch seat since it would provide him with significant resources and power to face the critical events he keeps mentioning.
I enjoyed the earlier chapters of the novel, but it’s starting to feel unreadable, especially with the whole "hiding his powers" aspect. I mean, what’s the point of having the memories of a great mage if he’s not going to use them at all? Instead, all he seems to do is stay in the shadows until the end of the story. From what I can see, it looks like he’s even planning to lose the upcoming Patriarch seat. I don’t know about you, but this kills my enthusiasm for the novel, especially with the lack of pride or ambition in the character—it’s making the story feel lifeless for me. I understand you have a specific vision for the novel, but I genuinely think it has so much potential that’s waisted
Thank you for the chapter! I’m really enjoying the story so far, and I appreciate all the effort you put into it. However, I have a small question about Fiona. Will she continue being so cold? I really liked her character at the beginning of the story and was hoping to see more of that side of her
Wait a minute, if the main character is currently 16 and mentioned that the last time he saw his sister was years ago, does that mean he was kicked out at 13 or younger? His parents must be really awful 🤨.
