Yeah it's from one piece it seems like the quirk you gave to your character works kinda like a devil fruit from One Piece, its also darkness based and it takes away other people's abilities.

We started moving, me carrying the unconscious boy and the girl floating on a cloud of darkness. I wanted to use my dark smoke to carry myself as well, but I couldn't focus on that now. We got away just in time before a massive cloud of dust engulfed the area.
