Start as a Witcher so stay as a Witcher, keep using the sword pls. But he can have a secondary weapon for use like a dagger or whip. Dagger are small and easy but you already have swords with greater reach in close combat so there is little point Whip also doesn’t take much space and can be more used as an aoe and open areas with large groups as he only has magic for that now. Switching weapons now is redundant as he is already used to a sword so that’s why a secondary weopon makes more sense if you want to introduce more possibilities with different weapons
So, what do you all want his main weapon to be? Should it remain the same and have Cassian stick with a longsword? Maybe take up a bit of dual-wielding? A spear? A Polearm? I'm heavily considering making his main weapon an axe, like Kratos' Leviathan Axe. Give me your opinions. I can't promise that I'll follow them, but I'll consider them and if I like them and they fit well, maybe even employ them.

Whip would be cool for aoe, range and open area’s like Trevor belmondt from castlevania using Morningstar and using Igni to ignite the weapon or with runes (idk how runes rly work haven’t played that far in wh yet). And with the drake fight it could be a perfect excuse to come up with it as aoe was mainly done by niko. It’s a big downside of his, if he was alone and a large number of monsters swarm him yk.
Since Cassian has reached a stage where he can forge whatever weapon he wants and will also receive training and be able to master it, I think it's time to consider his arsenal. So far, his main weapon has been a longsword, in keeping tradition with the Wolf School Witchers. However, he's not restricted or bound to swords.
