I know what you're trying to do, author. But for the readers to understand you also need to show some progression with the ego Tsuna had developed. Right now, he looks no different than Asahi, even though it's hinted that his power is rising. Maybe get some redemption in the next chapter? You can call off the punch as a heat of the moment thing, and I'm pretty sure Kageyama would also understand that. Just mention that Tsuna could do various things to score by completely avoiding the block, but also that his ego won't accept victory without breaking the iron wall.
