Ill be pulling from both especially when it comes to things that happen after season 2. The strength of characters like omni man are also more based on the comics which is why Brandon is wary of this version of omni man. If it was the cartoon it wouldnt be so much of a problem.
Brandon stood still as he struggled with what to do. He knew from the show that all the members of the Guardians survived as they are all present in the future, but letting them fight alone didn't sit right with him. They were clearly struggling and things had only escalated.
