Not really a fan of how this chapter is written. It feels less like a story and more like a dairy. Not very immersive.
That's not lean, too buff.
What the young man saw in the mirror was an extremely handsome, brown-skinned young man with Japanese facial features standing at 6' tall with shoulder-length purple-tinted black hair and bright purple eyes with a lean, muscular build.

Absolutely amazing. The MC is funny but not cringe which a lot of authors can't maintain that balance. I love all the characters, it feels like they're all being done justice and I love that even though the MC is traumatized, he didn't turn super edgy which would have just been annoying.
How far does his indifference go? If he sees someone about to be r*ped in front of him would be intervene or ignore it? If it's the latter then I would have to drop this story because I can't root for a character like that unless they will have character development and change.
Meanwhile, everyone else couldn't help but look at Kai with different expressions. The heroes and the aspiring hero felt touched by Kai's willingness to prioritize his family above all else, but they also felt a bit uneasy about his indifference toward strangers.

I don't remember this in the anime. Can anyone tell me if it's not a manga spoiler?
But suddenly, one day, the anime showed one of the characters betraying the others. I swear, I've never seen him so angry or out of control as he was that day. He was furious, to the point where he screamed at the TV, his eyes bloodshot, saying the character deserved to die.
