Beautiful girl... really beautiful girls... but no harem 🤣🤣 Author treading on a dangerous line here lolol
I love how almost everyone comes up with this theory, but everyone forgets that characters in this universe have to physically cast their powers in forms of Cards. And Lily could only see 3-5 seconds into the future. Michael is dumber than a rock, bless his poor soul, but he still would've questioned "Hey Lily why the fuck you have your origin card cast while kissing me?" I think it was more or less just high school romance gone wrong. Samael mistreated Lily, so when she found someone who treated her well, she did what she did. It's a classic "hero stealing the jade beauty from the young master" troupe from chinese novels, only in this case, the protagonist wasn't the hero but the young master itself.
there are few MCs worthy of the title of noble cockroach. Sunny is one of them. Now him. Be proud.
How is he still alive?

As Kevin made his way through the crowd, depression and anxiety marred his face. The youth was missing his left arm and looked extremely emaciated.

As far as I remember, Mindscape Drug already exited. Rexerd just enhanced its efficiency. Like before it could be used to stay 1 hour in the Mindscape but after he tweaked it, it could be used for 10 hours or something (I don't remember the exact math). Michael developed the drug even further with the help of his demon, that's how his battle iq rose so much in such a short time. Though he's keeping it a secret. Obviously. Coz why not? But aside from him, Rexerd is considered an alchemical genius prodigy and the most knowledgeable human on all topics related to the Spirit Realm. Or so the MC claims, we haven't seen of him much.
…And kill Instructor Rexerd Cronwell.

We've been told Lily had no malicious intent from the start. She was just stuck in a toxic relationship, believing in Samael but he never did. Then Michael made her feel like she was heard and valued, and she kissed him in a moment of weakness. That was all there is it to I think. It was a high school romance, I don't know why people are taking it so seriously.
I mean... Of course Michael would justify it. He likes her lmfao 🤣🤣🤣 I'm just saying there are many povs to a single story, author has done a good job showing it. I'll wait for Lily's pov before completely damning her. I still hate her, of course. You're right, she should've broken up first. So much could have been avoided if she had only broken up that day. Instead she decided to act like a trash. But she didn't cheat on a loving and doting boyfriend either. Samael was toxic as hell. The fact that she stayed with him and still sees him in kind of a good light is amazing enough. It's as Samael said to Michael a few chapters ago, "No one is a villain in their own story."
…So when Lily finally kissed Michael, he thought that would be the happiest day of his life.

I agree, cheating is worse than flirting, but flirting is still emotional cheating. Right in front of her no less. I'm not saying what Lily did was wrong. She was and still is trash, but the original Samael was no saint either. We only hate Lily because this story was told to us from Samael's pov first. It's as someone said: If this was a protagonist's story (Michael's pov), acting like a white knight and stealing the sad jade beauty (Lily) from the evil young master (Samael), we would've cheered the protagonist on. But since this story was told to us by the young master, we are sympathetic to him more.
…So when Lily finally kissed Michael, he thought that would be the happiest day of his life.

It doesn't matter, does it? I'll say to you what I said to this other guy. If a group of people are bullying you, making your life more miserable than it already is, walking all over you day and again... When you finally get a chance to take revenge on them, would you really stop to think, "Oh, that guy didn't bully me. Maybe I should leave him out of this?" No, you won't. Samael was guilty by association. In Michael's eye, since he didn't stop the bullying even when he had the power to do so, he was not a good guy.
…So when Lily finally kissed Michael, he thought that would be the happiest day of his life.
