Let me make it clear, dune is not my creation. What you're about to read is a piece of fan fiction, a work inspired by the original. The book Dune introduces us to the main character, Paul Atreides. The bene gesserit instructed his mother to have a daughter, but she disobeyed the reverend's mother and decided to have a boy. Lady Jessica was meant to give birth to Paul and only Paul, but one day, she lost control of her body; she was able to choose the gender of Paul, but in her womb, a second child was formed, and he was called Damon Atreides. I totally agree with what you are saying, and I love the criticism. because it reminds me you guys take this seriously. however, you missed subtle clues I left in the earlier chapters, Arrakis will be split. it was always Damon's intention to do so. If you think about it, he needed this situation with the emperor to occur. And if he conquered Arrakis early on, he would be constantly attacked by the other great houses, despite how much wealth he has and how much control he has over Spice. He is a new power that is only proving its strength. And the other great houses will test him, and he does not want that for the fremen people. he realizes that most fremen are fanatics of the Lisan Al Gaib so he does what he thinks is best and allows for house Atreides to come to Arrakis. and he wants Paul to control the fanatics, whereas he controls the other side. There will not be one emperor; there will be two in the whole galaxy. This is why Damon doesn't use his Atreides name and why he has not married. Damon is more powerful than Paul, and his children will be vastly different from Paul's. we also saw an increase in power, and though I don't show it, he is omniscient. He claims to know all long before the creation of the sisterhood. and he claims to be the one who orchestrated its creation. and I mentioned he is older by billions of years. He is a being that has been waiting to be born.
