Ok, let's start from here. The author is good. He can write; he can keep the pace neither too fast nor too slow. I only have praise for him. But, to be honest, this story doesn't bring anything new to the genre. It is the usual story with the MC, who constantly gets cheat power-ups throughout the story, and that's it. Also, it is based on the usual tropes: power-up, cold MC, people scared of him or respectful of him, academy study, teleportation event (like Mushoku Tensei), demon invasion, and the like. MC basically didn't interact with anyone but his father a couple of times; the other characters are, frankly, nonexistent, and the ones that appeared are forgettable. To be honest, I did expect the true story to begin once he went to the academy and interacted with the novel's MC, but that didn't happen because of the teleportation event. Now, I know how hard it is to write a novel, and as I said, the author is very good at writing and storytelling, but I feel like he could have spent a little more time thinking about the setting before starting the novel. Don't get me wrong; people who started reading recently and do not know how many novels out there are like this one may actually like it, but for people like me, who have read countless novels, this is just another copy-pasted work. To be honest, I don't really blame the author since this is what most people on this website like to read, and as far as I've seen, he is doing a great job. just not my cup of tea. In my opinion, the world-building is so-so, and the update schedule is not that great. The author publishes a chapter a day, from what I've seen, but many others out there upload two chapters a day, sometimes even more. I won't say don't read this, but if you do, do not expect anything out of the ordinary. I apologize to the author if he gets offended by my review, but I think that anything said by readers will be helpful to him (and other authors) in the future.
