But someone who without pride won't suddenly attain pride after getting strength. Even after getting strength he would still be bendable. What he got is confidence, not pride. Pride is a power of mind. One that most are willing to forsake for comfort. I applaud them for being intelligent. But they will always be servants. Why are Japanese protags are called Betas all over the world? Do they lack strength?

Didn't read a single chapter. Get your facts right author. Villains are evil and unrestrained. No reviews or requirements of readers will faze the evilness of mc. What you are writing is an Antihero. Someone who has morals and bottom lines but still twisted and ruthless in action. I feel ashamed you put 'Villain' tag in and still licking to readers requirements. Those readers who put requirements are temporary readers. They would bend you over and over because they know they can. As for respect, you can guess it yourself. Requirements and analysis from a reader is different. Some 'Demand' author's to do something. Some give analysis on if the world and characters are lacking in any way. I don't have anything else to say other than express my disappointment.
Why are you pretending to like an evil mc if you can't stomach a simple pet killing. You should first understand what evil means. You should look for the "ruthless" tag. They have a bottom line and often called anti-heroes.
I was punished for its death, but I really did not see anything wrong with it.
