I do enjoy the novel but I am not the main audience with the belief of the whole Alpha and such. The prose in describing the foreground and background were so well done I felt the cold. Very intrigued about a 1st person POV as well.
I like the first person POV. Very enticing and it makes me want to read more. Oh man I can't wait what comes next!
Feels like reading an anime for each scene the writer made. Good slow burn. Though, the italicized font would make me feel confused. Usually it would be used as a recap rather than a whole sequence. Or a device uses for thought. Use of vague descriptions and also survival techniques were basic, they are also effective in real life. So this chapter is a good start to what may come to be a very auspiciously well written piece.
