Thanks for your kind words! Yeah, he's pretty ruthless at the moment, and it's understandable that you might not like that. Haha, I'm glad you still look forward to reading more. Ooh, good question! I tend to just write the story as it goes, with only a vague outline in mind, since that best allows my creativity to flow. I do agree that Naruto's biggest flaw was the massive shift and focus on toward world-destroying powers. I, too, prefer the more down-to-earth ninja stuff. Obviously, bijuu and Otsutsuki will play a role in the story. However, I want to explore all the interesting and often ignored filler/movie/novel concepts and powers, and logically, those sorts of things are more accessible to the MC and easier to attain than either the super coveted bijuu or the super duper difficult Otsutsuki powers. Ah, I'm glad to hear that.

Very low likelihood of harem, like 2%. I'm never going to say never, but it's definitely not in the plans. I'm not a fan of harems either unless it's just a straight-up smutty, low-effort story from the get-go.

Thanks! This is my second attempt at writing creatively, so that means a lot. I hope my writing improves more in the future and will be reflected in the story as it continues. As to your issue with the MC, that's reasonable. MC is definitely a bit abnormal. However, it's mainly the circumstances that make him so uncaring of human life. He views everyone he interacts with as essentially characters from a story rather than real people, which is how he describes them in his internal monologue several times throughout the story. That is the main reason he has such little regard for those around him for the time being; the others will be revealed in due time. As for his role in the story, he will become more in the immediate future. It's just that he has no power or desire to change anything as of right now.

There will be some romance in the future, yes. However, it's not going to be an overbearing, over-the-top kind of romance. Those kinds of stories can be fun, but that's not really what I'm going for here. It'll be a flavoring, moreso than a main ingredient. However, I could change my mind in the future as the romance aspect develops. We'll just have to see.
