The first few chapters offer a nice, calm slice-of-life and character development. So far, I'm really enjoying it. I hope the author will keep up the same level of quality.

If MC becomes a mage, giving him Excalibur would be overkill. Avalon, though — that's something! It could, by the way, solve the MC's issue with having a way shorter lifespan compared to supernatural beings.
